Corner Market

Yes, this is a market on a corner. Reminiscent of a neighborhood store and/or a bodega, this is an oasis for finding really good sandwiches. What I mean about sandwiches are great deli-type sandwiches with good balance. From the freshly sliced cuts of meats to the vegetables, and especially to the bread that has to do half of the heavy lifting in delivering the perfect mouthful. The Pastrami here are not the typical cuts you may find elsewhere. There is a certain restaurant class striven here. Every sandwich is made fresh and cold cuts are sliced to order. I think Corner Market rivals other established deli joints in Glendale. There is no customer parking thus you will have to rely on your parallel parking skills. There is a wait time for Sandwich Greatness. A 45-minute wait for an order is not uncommon. I would call ahead.

Recently discovered this gem of a market. Corner Market consistently delivers top-notch ingredients. They really do have the best sandwiches in town – perhaps even beyond just our town. The freshness and quality are palpable. My husband and I order their pastrami breakfast burritos and mortadella sandwiches at least once a week. Their irresistible choices have made them my go to spot. Thank you, Corner Market!

As someone from New York I can confidently say that I am a self proclaimed pastrami expert. I don’t judge it lightly. When I say that corner market has one of the BEST pastrami sandwiches I’ve had in a while, I mean it. It was nice to have a little piece of home while visiting LA. Rays was is the best if you like a little horseradish kick. Do yourself a favor and try it for yourself!!

Came into the store needing to use the restroom from being stuck in traffic. When I asked the gentleman to use the restroom, he was very nice to point me to the back without asking me to buy anything. After using the restroom I decided to order a sandwich. I got the pastrami sandwich and did not have any regrets. The bread was nicely toasted; a good bite and tasted they had just made it. The combination of cheese, mustard, veggies and pastrami was a good ratio. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would come back. Thank you for being so kind to let me use your restroom without asking me to buy anything. The place was clean and bright. What a great find!

Wow!! I’m not even done with my sandwich but I had to leave a review. This brisket pastrami is so damn good. Y’all got a new regular. See you next week.

It’s a pleasure to see a owner take pride in his product. Today I indulged in the pastrami sandwich. Crusty warm bread, juicy and I mean juicy flavorful meat that was seasoned perfectly, house-made pickles not too briny absolutely deserved to be on this sandwich. The owner a lovely man who made me feel like I was in his home, funny considering his shop is a house on a corner. If I lived here I’d be a regular for sure. Price point is perfect and you get a can of soda with your sandwich.

Wow the pastrami sandwich is delicious!... not your average sandwhich you can taste the effort they put in to making a pastrami id put up there with even langers... super tender and full of flavor... nice people running the place.
. I will be back I must try their full menu... they even have breakfast burritos till 12pm... check it out.. the bread was soft and crusty as well.. just perfect

Legit pastrami sandwiches! I've driven by this unassuming little market for years but the sign says they have the best sandwiches so I had to see for myself. Flakey, tender bread, smokey, thick pastrami—seriously good sandwich. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

My sandwich dreams came true! I loved this place. Not only was the sandwich amazing, but the service was great. They were very nice and quick. Definitely going back and telling everyone I know.

Truly the best sandwich you'll ever have. The number 7 and 8 are absolutely delicious and highly recommend everyone to give em a try and you'll be absolutely hooked!

This place has the best sandwiches in Glendale handa down. Also a really cool market. And it's not too expensive!! These might even be the best sandwiches in Los Angeles. Maybe even in Southern California.

Great sandwich spot! The menu isn't extensive, but everything is fresh and delicious. I recommend the brisket rayz way, but the turkey and the tuna are also excellent. The quality of their ingredients and their bread is what makes it. The only downside is they have limited parking, limited seating, and I recommend placing your order in advance.

AMAZING sandwiches! The best pastrami and turkey sandwiches I ever had! they’re melt in your mouth, crispy and fresh yummy bread with nice marinated pastrami , fresh veggies, cheese and sauce with great prices. Also, I recommend this store for shopping too , It’s super clean and nice store for grocery shopping . The owner and staff are always welcoming, friendly and fast. Highly recommend and definitely going back!👍

Delicious sandwiches! Great neighborhood market!

Love this place for the quick convenience shopping, but they also bring in some great fruits. I'm a big fan of their tomatoes. Recently tried their sandwiches, and the pastrami is amazing. We bought some pastrami by the pound to take home as well and were blown away. Great neighborhood spot!

They have sandwiches now!! Currently turkey, spicy ham, and pastrami. I've had the latter two and they're both delicious - apparently they make their own pickles too.

They also now have a meat section, which is great quality (grass fed, local, organic) but a bit pricey. The chicken and beef patties are more affordable of the meats.

Really love that this corner store continues to introduce new things and strives to provide the best quality foods. They're great!

I love this little corner store! They have been invaluable to us, especially recently. They have a wide and well rounded selection, esp for such a small store, and it's a great place to pop over if you're needing some basic ingredients - milk, eggs, veggies, etc. - or want to get a snack or some frozen foods.

Other highlights for me: I love that they have coffee beans that they'll grind for you, and they also stock fresh bread daily from a local bakery. They also have an ice machine.

They have a small 2-car parking area, and there can also be a fair amount of street parking.
