Love Michael’s. Great coupon deals when you are a member and quick and easy checkout process. Michael’s is my number one preferred crafting store of them all. The location off Franklin is my personal favorite. Always plenty of decent parking and the location is prime for living anywhere in the treasure valley.

We looked all over for a 5 ft long natural Burch pole for decor. We finally found a perfect one at Michaels. So happy to have finally found it.

This is one of the best craft stores in the area. Before my mother died, I would visit modestly often, as I would get her faux flowers as they have one of the best selections around. I love visiting this particular Michaels, but find this store to be the best during the holiday season. Not only do they have a wonderful selection of Christmas decorations (the World Ornaments are my favorite) and decor, the DIY options are amazing. I love the yearly ornaments, the Michael exclusives. Just recently I purchased oil-based paint pens here. The customer service is great. Although some of the ladies aren’t familiar with some of the products, I do think their prompt, poised, and polite personalities make up for it. Great place and I will definitely return.

As a professional artist, I do not buy canvasses online because it is too hard to ensure quality and one cannot check for warpage (often an issue with mass-produced canvasses) unless one buys in person.

My review is for professional grade deep profile canvasses (Artist’s Loft, Level 3 - cotton-duck, gesso primed, gallery wrapped) in particular: I have searched EVERYWHERE for canvasses in this part of Idaho at decent price points and I can assure you: there is NO other store (not even other Michaels stores in the area) that beat their pricing on these specific canvasses when they run their promotions.

I literally bought 9 such (medium and large) canvasses today for $125.00 at buy 1, get 2 free - if you know what these canvasses cost, you will know these are a steal. Never warp (but you should still always check for nicks and warpage in store before purchase).

I always love visiting this location because I can always find the perfect thing for my next project. This visit I had a specific color and brand of yarn I was looking for. After not finding it on the shelves, Heather was so helpful with finding it and grabbing it from the overstock section. Heather was so nice and helpful. Thank you, Heather, for going above and beyond with helping me.

I have my first gallery show coming up and i needed frames for my watercolors... With the sales and bonus points, Michaels has given me what i need at great prices.

Has alot of hard to find supplies than that of your normal supercenter.

So many seriously awesome selections to choose from, you get completely lost with all the ideas swimming through your head, and the best part they have regular deals and a coupon you get on your receipt for next time!

I give Michaels a 5 star rating for these reasons I like to get items that are marked down which really helps my budget a lot. I will say that some of the employees are helpful and some are not.

Good selection and open later than the other craft store. Went in for some last minute graduation supplies for my wife and had much success. All employees were very helpful in finding what we were looking for quickly and nicely.

Michelle has a good selection of 8.5x11 cardstock of 30+ colors same with the pens .. if your traveling,, Michaels offers enough to get you started on your art project

Good variety of products. Went in looking and found magnifying glasses for elderly mother. Had fun wandering thru store and wound up buying multiple things. Fun items and candies at register. Planning to check out classes.

I only needed a mat made for a frame I have. Mercedes helped me and she is so sweet and friendly, and was kind enough to cut my mat while I wandered around the store so I didn't have to make a second trip back.
And she cut it perfectly. I will definitely come back if I need another.

Just want to thank Mercedes who works in the custom frames. She is always happy and helpful. We have been in a number of times changing our wall of pictures and she has been most helpful

Their end-of-year Christmas ornament sale is an event that shouldn't be missed. We always make a point of going. They also have the best assortment of paints, from beginner to expert. I love that I can buy for my granddaughter and my artist wife in the same store.
