This is one of the last places that electronic components are available to the general public, in a storefront situation. Many surplus items are available. The store fulfills a very necessary component to the local community.

At one time, stores like this were scattered all over town. We need more stores like this, people need this kind of resource for a rounded community to exist.

It's a great place to go shopping for components. I get wires there and connectors, there are kits there for soldering projects.

I'm glad this place is here.

The shop is The best place I have been for being a hobbyist. I was making a hot end for a foam cutter. I didn't really know how electronics worked or what to do, and the workers there were able to help me get all the components I needed and even helped me avoid buying things that were overly expensive for what I needed. Well deserved five stars

Every person I've talked to is helpful. They are super welcoming to beginners and are very friendly. If youre just starting out I recommend one of the awesome kits they offer that are designed in house.

Awesome spot, They have a great variety of circuitry and electronics that you wouldn’t find anywhere else, I was looking for a fuse housing,’ and I had been looking for it in other stores with no luck, came to this place and 💥 they had a variety of them. Staff was friendly and helpful. True thumbs up!!!

Some of the nicest people, in world, you could meet. Everything electronically you need, they have or can be ordered. Reasonable prices and location.

Excellent store to buy electronics parts. I was desperate to find an uncommon connector for a paging amplifier, and when I saw that they didn't have the part in stock, the owner offered to custom manufacture the item for me while I waited. He was a life saver. I highly recommend this store when you need electronic parts!!

This place had a lot of items. Plus, they know their parts and what you might need. They offer student discounts. For those in the tech field, this is your place to find whatever parts you will need to build your senior project.

I can't say enough good things about this electronics store. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and a helpful attitude. The store layout was organized and easy to navigate, making it a breeze to find exactly what I was looking for. Well since we don't have none of the electrical that they have closed down this is the only place that you can get reasonable prices and a great deal and great service on electrical products equipment

A dwindling choice of resources that fortunately is staved off somewhat by this historic (since 1969) retail electronics establishment.

I cannot even count the fingers on both hands, the enumeration of retail electronics stores that still exist - thank goodness Torrance Electronics numbers among those, saving people from having to drive to Paramount or even Orange County to pick up what is often a three or four dollar part or component.

Not only that, but the friendly and knowledgeable staff need nary more than a glance and know exactly where to locate the item in their inventory at a reasonable price that will continue to bring back return customers throughout the rest of this decade.

A truly "essential business", but moreover, a treasure trove for professionals and hobbyists alike.

Great store, friendly and helpful staff, and great prices!

My first visit to T.E. was excellent. I walked in and immediately got help to find what I needed.

After that, I perused the products there to find all the items that big box stores don't carry.

The prices were unexpectedly affordable, competing with online offers. I will be back!

I'm a many time repeat customer -- this place is great. They probably have whatever odd electronic component it is that you're looking for. (Whether or not you'll be able to find it is a different story...).

Service is very friendly but do your own research ahead of time so that you can help them help you. I have had very good luck with just bringing in whatever it is I'm trying to fix -- 99% of the time one of the guys will immediately recognize what I need and point me in the right direction. Prices are very reasonable.

Don't waste your time with Amazon. This place is awesome! They had the exact microwave part that I was looking for. Customer service is second to none as they're extremely helpful and courteous.
