Super awesome experience. Major care to detail. I needed some cars for a tradeshow. Jay was super helpful and shipped the cars for me and got there on time!!

Was shopping for an Autel Evo. Found SoCal Hobbies on Instagram. They responded quickly to messages and were great to work with. Answered all my questions quickly. Ordered my Evo over the holiday and it still arrived quickly and gave me a great deal! Lifetime costumer now! Thank you!

I bought a drone online from them and it was one of those rare occasions where the drone came with a faulty propeller shaft. I contacted them and they helped me with a solution right away. I am definitely buying again!

Do Not do business with SoCal Hobbies / hobbyshop247. Frequent 'sale' prices on RCP tracks which he neither has in-stock or can deliver in timely fashion. My opinion is he offers sale pricing to entice buyers and then attempts to sit on your funds for extended period of time until you tire and request refund. His policy is to refund only 'one day' per month to buy additional time with your money. Shady sales behavior...avoid. I had to report to CC company, at least my CC company is solid and I had my money back by end of day. P.S., before he slaps me with "I don't know this guy"...I have screenshots of direct communication with JP telling me RCP was instock and would usually deliver in about one week. Four weeks and several messages later...I called 1-800 Credit Card for FRAUD.

I ordered RCP track on Ebay and had 2 sets in-hand in 36 hours.

No ethics with this company...read the reviews...thrust them. I didn't.

Arrived here at their address, and they moved out over a year ago. Someone came outside and asked if I was looking for the shop, and of course that's what the current people there said. Wasted a lot of time coming here.

Do not order from these people. I submitted and order back in June 2022. And after a couple of months of never receiving my order, I requested a refund.
Got a lot of run around from Jay. He even sent a copy of the refund request to his merchant. But it was never completed because he failed to authorize it.
Basically the stole $434.44 from me. Never received the order or the refund.
They have blocked my emails because I keep asking where my refund is. He even tried to say it's my banks fault. What? that you never sent a refund is my banks fault.
You are a scammer and a thief.
Buyers Beware. This is a very crooked business.

A bold con-man. Sells products he claims to have but that he doesn’t actually stock and can’t reasonably get, doesn’t respond to email, voicemail, Contact Us forms, or the Chat feature on the website. Then keeps your money.

He has been sitting on my nearly $1000 for over three weeks. After finally getting hold of him over Facebook he feeds me more lies about his inventory and tells me that, because I “chose not to wait” for the product to be restocked, he’s not going to issue the refund for another three weeks… nearly a month and a half after he took my money for an item he knew he didn’t have and couldn’t get (but of course that he advertised as In Stock). Then he told me to file a dispute with my credit card company if I didn’t like it.

Back last year in April I purchased 2 drone online from their website. I never received the drones. I texeted them and asked for my money back. He sent me a picture of a point of sale screen that he did the refund. I watched my bank for the refund. I never received it. I then procceded to ask him to check his bank make sure it came out of his bank. He never seemed to have the time to check. here it is 5 months later and he still hasn't given me my refund. I have started a small claims on his business. When I call or text him now I do not get a response. See you in court!!!

BUYER BEWARE! I placed an order back in Dec 2019 for approx 300$ plus priority shipping. Jay ( if that is his real name) kindly took my money at the time but I never received my order. I have tried chatting, emailing, calling, and leaving messages many many times and still have not received a response. I am wondering now if this place "SoCal Hobbies" is an internet scam. Buy at your own risk.

Thief, never received product and nothing but lies out of Jay's mouth. Stopped answering phone!!!

I do not recommend this store, some time ago I was scammed and never responded. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM
