Have been coming to Craig and staying at the Trout Shop on and off for years. Great accommodations, amenities for travelers (laundry, WiFi, great beds, etc) and Izaajs pub across road has all you’ll need it weather is hot or cold (French Onion soup) and bar. Fly shop has whatever I needed and more, gear, flies, guides and lunches for your float trip where the BigMo, which will never disappoint you or your group. Good wildlife too, big bucks, eagles fighting, and those blue wing teal flocks. This is why I keep returning. Bring a friend(s) , they’ll thank you for it. Tom/Boston

Everything you need! One stop shop. Get your place to stay, your guide and anything you forgot you need! I happened on a fantastic Patagonia rain jacket that was out of sale online. Yay me. The lodge is better than expected, clean, quiet and roomy. Come to Craig! Fish your heart out.

On the Missouri there is no better. Top notch fly shop. Excellent place to get lunches and river beverages. Their kitchen and deli is most impressive. Most tasty Italian sandwich I've had. Their help is sooo good. You need it, they accommodate. They made my day on the first step in the door. They hooked me up with guide Paul Bloch. The river Yoda is what he is. Hire him you should. He's a fish Yoda. Jedi language for Paul. You rock!

Stopped in for a sandwich and a side. Wind up getting the California club and the potato salad super tasty,freshly made and fresh ingredients. Hubby loves it and was treated very well by both who made the sandwich and the cashier super nice people(don't know if they are the owner or not).. hubby said this is how everyone should be treated everywhere..👍👍👍👍👍..

I purchased a jacket via their online website earlier this month, there was some slight trouble on Arc'teryx's end but Jerry offered me superb customer service to resolve the issue. On top of that they offered shipping faster than any other place I've shopped at this season. Just made my second purchase this morning which reminded me to write them a review. Great job Jerry and crew!

Fantastic and friendly fly shop that has everything! When I first arrived into town, I felt like a lost tourist. When I went inside looking for my guide, breakfast, and phone service - they helped me out! They said I could use my phone underneath their cellular repeater located the front door. I had no idea that there was a lack of cellular signal in Craig because I saw the Verizon coverage map showing a good signal... The shop then said the burrito shop across the road is not yet open but their cafe is. So I got a very yummy hot breakfast burrito made the way I wanted. With this super friendly shop, it's worth a stop here for sure. They carry all the fly fishing stuff you can ask for!

I purchased an Arc'teryx Alpha FL jacket online from The Trout Shop in Craig Montana. I mistakenly ordered the wrong size, and emailed the shop. Jerry was extremely helpful, and sorted things out for me. I received the jacket and love it. Good people at The Trout Shop. Highly recommended.

Purchased on-line several times; always prompt and as promoted. Called the shop for assistance/recommendations for a couple of purchases, again prompt and courteous with great help. Same with one returned item - was substituted without issue [after I didn't follow their input on original purchase!]. Will continue to shop and buy - hope to visit in person sometime.

Really great customer service. Purchased a sun hoodie online and had some snafus with shipping and price (partially my fault). Jerry and his staff took care of me with no problem and were very kind. Would highly recommend them!

Only fishing shop that you can get breakfast, lunch, great selection of beer and wine. Biggest and best trout shop in all of Craig. Owners were very friendly and had a great guide to show me the ropes. I recommend The Trout Shop to anyone looking for a professional fly fishing experience. They also had their cafe open and the food was amazing and fresh.

I ordered a tie fast magnum tool for making musky leaders from 130# Fluro. Ordered it on a Sunday had it by Wednesday from Montana to Poynette Wisconsin. The speed of this transaction was out of this world for standard shipping rates and it didn’t take 3 days for the order to process. And not to mention during the pandemic in early April. Phenomenal!
