CVS

Just moved here and my dog was itchy. Went to the local CVS and was greeted by a SUPER friendly guy who directed us to the right aisle for flea spray and happened to be at the register as we were leaving and just made the place glow.

I don't get the shade for these folks. We needed 4 prescriptions filled very quickly for a next day appointment, and these fine people came through. My feeling is people only post low ratings here to complain. Lame. Give credit where it's due, and this CVS has been nothing but helpful from customer service to pharmacy. I’m not going to lie, I use to absolutely hate this pharmacy when I moved to Tiburon about two years ago. However, over the past year they have really become great. The previous people I dealt with that had attitudes no longer seem to be there and I’ve had nothing but great experiences this past year. The pharmacist, John, is really really amazing. He has always helped me manage my prescriptions (and my dogs) get them filled on time/ early, and helped me out tremendously when I was switching insurances. He is really knowledgeable and generally caring. I’m happy to have a pharmacy and pharmacist I can trust as they seem to be few and far between.

They overcharge, they are rude, the quite frankly do not do their job

I have changed my review from 1 star to 5 stars solely on the hiring of their new pharmacist John. He is so kind, so efficient and really cares about his customers. If he leaves, I’ll follow. He’s the best!

I just want you to know that John at the CVS in Tiburon (1599 Tiburon Blvd Tiburon, CA 94920 Store #1483) is the most amazing pharmacist. I went there today to switch my prescriptions over from Walgreens. I have been a Walgreens customer since moving to SF ten years ago but recently moved to Marin and find the Walgreens here to be very lacking. I love CVS, am from Boston MA, just didn't have enough access when living in city. Anyway, I cannot tell you how kind, lovely and attentive he was. He is also from Boston and we made that connection. Further, he was clearly very busy when I showed up at 9am but was cheerful, made time, made a personal connection with me and told me that I would be very happy with his Pharmacy care at CVS. WOW! What a beautiful personal touch on this Tuesday morning. Promote this man!!!!! Thank you!

I had a top notch experience with a guy named Pete at the front counter / check out. I had previously given this CVS a 1 star review. It’s nice to have a reason to change my mind. Thanks Pete.

I frequent this store regularly and have always been treated courteously. I am happy they carry a number of basic house supplies and European cookies, fitness bread, and other Euro groceries for prices lower than TJ's or WF.

Linde on the phone today was super helpful to remove insurance information since it was not a covered med and even helped me find a discount code. A real keeper especially after yesterday some lady at the register (smaller Indian lady) just started yelling and told me cash paying is impossible and illegal in California. If your insurance does not cover it then you cannot get the drug is what she said. When I asked to speak with the pharmacist yesterday was told I would have to wait an hour first because she was away and then because if you want to ask for the pharmacist you have to wait in the line again. Previous lady was terrible but Linde was a savior! Linde fixed it today. Yeah Linde. Thx.

Staff friendly & helpful; fairly well stocked, but some items—both general store and pharmacy—out of stock more frequently or for longer than might be expected.

Yes, the hold time at the pharmacy is long, but so we the other CVSs.

To slculper. Yes, people are reviewing the store so of course they are going to air their grievances!! ??? Super irritated that it took 24hours to get a prescription. staff was absolutely rude about it but, I had checked again with doctor so it was their incompetence. That said, when I went through the drive thru the young lady who helped me was lovely! She even took the time to get my pups some dog biscuits. I meant to ask her name but forgot. She gets 5 stars. The rest get 1. I can give credit where it is due.

Good selection, but when I came at 9:30pm on a Friday night they were closed though their posted hours said open until 11pm 😡
