Best of the Jewels! So clean. Wide aisles well stocked. Everybody is helpful from meats to bakery & customer care. It is worth going to Wrigleyville on a game day!

This review is for the employees at the bakery. I ordered a sheet cake yesterday and needed it today. The woman ( her name starts with an M) was so nice when helping me. Today I picked it up and Edwin ( he was also the employee that decorated the cake) helped me take the cake to my car. This is the only Jewel I have been to that I have had a good experience at the bakery! Thanks again!

Lots of variety of products at reasonable prices. Beer, wine and liquor on 2nd floor. Limited staff so expect to find things by trial and error if not familiar with the store.

I recently went to Jewel-osco to buy stock in our refrigerator. They have impeccable customer service through the ENTIRE store! I really love how the employees will drop what they’re doing to help you find something, And I want to give HUGE THANK YOU to all the employee that are working so hard and keeping good spirits though all this stuff going on even though they were exhausted. Jewel-Osco has a best quality fresh vegetables and meat.

Store was stocked well..produce section was great..deli was helpful and pleasant. Everyone was busy..well run place. Management continues to do a great job at this location!!!

Not my normal Jewel but I pop in every few months. Always seems well stocked, well maintained.

Can get easily crowded during busy times so plan accordingly but a great option in the neighborhood.

Place has a large selection of foods it can be overwhelming sometimes, but after a few visits you'll know where to get your items. Strongly recommended not to come here during rush due to pandemic still happening, the hallways end up getting flooded with people and for some reason the customer don't understand the 6ft apart guidelines. Overall this is good store to buy your groceries but the only down side is customers who don't follow the covid-19 safety guidelines, but the employees do kick people who don't wear a mask so that's something good.

It's a nice jewel. Although as with any jewel always allow extra time to escape there's never quite enough people working to get you checked out quickly. This particular visit was memorable because the woman who was being helped was outraged by the city mandated 7¢ bag fee after spending $60 on groceries. She argued for maybe 3 minutes with the cashier before giving up. It was a fun moment to witness.

The cashier Diane is such a sweetheart and she always makes my day! She also recommended the best brownies that are now a staple at my house :)

It's a grocery store, they have groceries. Everyone here does their job and is cordial enough. Sometimes the deli people are cheerful, sometimes they're clearly beaten down by the Karens who go home and write naming/shaming reviews on Google, but I get my deli items regardless.

People who work public facing jobs during the pandemic deserve better than idiots complaining about "attitude."

Definitely one of the better jewels in the city. I'd say the produce is markedly fresher than others I've been to. There used to be long lines but during the pandemic they really built out the self check out area and it's helped a lot. Updating to 5 stars from 4.

I look forward to going to the Southport Jewel. Why? Nicest, most courteous, friendly associates ever. They make a grocery trip feel like fun and they truly appreciate your business, especially the deli crew. They now carry Boas Head products too, who needs Whole Foods. One thing, mgt. Should fix the floor tile in the elevator to the free underground parking.

Very clean well organized store and extremely helpful employees. I go out of my way to go to this Jewel even though I live closer to the one on Broadway.

Staff was very nice friendly and attentive, except for the one stock guy who was profiling and bashing his coworkers in a quite audible rant he was having to a another team member. Not my normal jewel i visit so didn't know where anything was, but got some stuff I normally wouldn't have.
