ACME Markets

I just found out that there's a ACME three blocks from where I live and I went there yesterday and I was surprised and excited about the reduced prices on all items

The actual store and the staff are a pleasant addition to my day!

But a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THE PHARMACY DEPARTMENT!
THEY ARE HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!
CARING!
FRIENDLY!
WARM!
THEY ACTUALLY REMEMBER YOU AND WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO YOU!
AND THEY WON'T FILL A SCRIPT THAT A DOCTOR MADE A MISTAKE ON....THEY KNOW WHAT CAN HARM US AND THEY PUT OUR SAFETY FIRST!

LOVE THEM FOR STOPPING 2 SCRIPTS...
LOVE THEM FOR JUST SAYING HI LOUIS IN A CITY AS LARGE AS OURS!

Clean, very organized, staff is very helpful and does not rush you at all.

Except for the staff sometimes being a bit not so friendly, this store is one of my favorite stores for grocery. The options to choose from are great including the bakery, meat, produce, etc. I like the prices of the times are relatively cheaper to other grocery stores in the area. The staff could be a bit more nicer to make the experience better. Otherwise this store is fantastic!

While the store is not as large as some of the mega markets, the overall selection was quite good. Their prepared meals were wonderful, both the ready to heat and ready to cook options. I was only visiting the area and was not aware of the need to bring my own bag. The cashier quickly realized that and offered their reusable bags, saving me some embarrassment (they weren't free, but why should they be?). The cashier was very pleasant.

Acme is a great place to go to when you are in a rush and need something quick. They often do great deals which are good to take advantage of. They also sell imported heinz baked beans for a cheap price which is good if you are from England and miss the taste.

I love the cleanliness and most of all the selection. Always the supermarket to go to in town.

Acme in Jersey City New Jersey is the Best. The staff are more then accommodating

My favorite store in the area. Clean, organized, well stocked, never long lineups, prices as indicated, and with Acme one can always get great deals if one tries a little.

This store is incredible! I just moved in down the street and having such a great grocery store right next door is a dream come true. This was my first time visiting an Acme grocery store and it was a real treat! Their variety is out of this world! I can't even begin to tell you all the many items I saw here that I've never seen anywhere else. They seriously had all my favorite foods and drinks. I'm talking things I couldn't find anywhere and ended up having to order online. Best store EVER!

The great thing is the variety of over the counter medications. Sugar free cough drops and cough medicines for people with high blood pressure . I was able to get everything on my list in one place. Other local store had nothing.

This place is awesome. Unfortunately I do not know the managers name. Dark skinned black woman. Very professional and handled my issue with a package of hamburger rolls. Also a young lady who mostly works the register named Shonna... Pardon the mispell but her name is pronounced: Sho-Nuh. Another very professional employee there. I'm a Diebetec and she went above and beyond to made sure I got a ice cream that was low in sugar/sodium to ensure I'd survive my ice cream craving that day... 😁 Awesome job ladies... Thank you.

Excellent place to shop for groceries, flowers for all occasions and when you sign up on acme you get discount off of gas and store purchases. It's not much but a little adds up.

They have the nicest staff, many of which have worked there during the few years that I have shopped there. They have great deals and a great rewards program.

It is a good market in Newport it is cheaper than Morton Williams but the same as target but has different stuffs too.

This is such a great food store! I live in Hoboken and drive here weekly - each Monday morning before work! Such friendly staff, great prices and the produce!!! It’s much better than a standard chain grocery store.

Very nice and clean store to shop and they had everything i needed.

Manager is always available will order items usually not in stock. Very friendly Customer Service staff all very knowledge willing to leave their area to show you the aisle where item you can't find is located. Just a comfortable shopping experience , and usually going to supermarkets is not a great experience, however ACME on 18th Street is a nice place to shop and very, very clean even the bathroom!!

I think it's a great place to work and shop. the prices are high end but it is local and close to where I live. I recommend buying here.

First thing it's very clean and fully stocked and so much too chose from every thing I like it's all there and a lot of specials Lov the price its my kind of store, good job ACME.
