Cromer's P-Nuts

We have come in for the large popcorn bags for community events. Great size options, where it says about how ma y servings it will feed. We also tried the hotdogs for the first time today. Delicious!!

Friendly staff! Fresh popcorn with lots of options. The hot dogs are delicious and the old fashioned candy is nostalgic.

Great people and a great long-time merchant in Columbia, SC. Peanuts and popcorn of all flavors are here along with many party favors. Barrels of penny candy and so many items for the sweet tooth!

Store is very well kept and clean. Also has party supplies if needed. They also serve some quick snacks that I'll try next time. My go to for popcorn and boiled peanuts for sure!

Purchased some peanuts and popcorn... Three wonderful queens were here today. BRITTANY, BRI and HOPE...Their customer service was great, they were welcoming as soon as we enter the door. Thank you Erica

Nostalgia will hit you when you walk through the doors! I was in awe... I grabbed some boiled peanuts, confetti popcorn, cotton candy, candy apple, Nehi peach drink and a bbq sandwich with the yellow sauce. The peanuts were good and so was the bbq sandwich... Next time I come back to Soda City, it's a must to stop here!

Slogan is Worst in town. You can only go up from there. Great boiled peanuts. They also have roasted. Popcorn is cooked fresh. They make caramel corn with salted popcorn so it just tastes better. If you need party favors or treat bags this is the place.

Cromer's has been a favorite spot of mine since my father started bringing me to the Assembly Street location when I was a young child. In fact, when my dad was a young child, my grandfather took HIM to Cromer's. I have kept the tradition alive through my nephew, and aside from location (you'll love North Main!), not much has changed. Which is fantastic; it's with good reason that generations of people have flocked to a place with peanuts "guaranteed worst in town!"

I haven’t been here in a long time, my grandpa used to take me here as a kid at the old and new location I just hope it is as great as I remember. I figured it deserved another 5 star review for holding good memories

I broke down and had to pull into a parking lot so i pulled into a spot that i didn’t realize at the time was “employee parking only” once i saw that sine i started to panic but when they opened i went in and explained my situation to the staff and they told me not to worry! Lovely staff and wish them the best!

Extremely fun place to go. They are known for their popcorn and peanuts. The story or the "worst in town" is neat (I won't spoil it). They have all kinds of goodies. This store makes me feel like a kid again.

I go for the pnuts but I always end up buying some popcorn. My cousin always wants me to pick her up a red candy apple.

Being waiting a long time to come by here. I've ordered online multiple times but the store is awesome with the wall of popcorn in like 15 flavors. Cashier was very helpful and polite.

**Anyways, I’ve been coming to Comer’s since I was a tot 🧒 and it was next to the fairgrounds/stadium (GO COCKS!!!!). Mr. Cromer used to bring us large bags of peanuts and magic tricks as a kid. I’m a product of a former City of Columbia PD employee and recall him being supportive with/of local public servants. I came into town for the fair and of course went to Comer’s before leaving. I was surprised to see it wasn’t very busy for a weekend. This is about my 4th or 5th visit at the new location. We were greeted by two ladies, one was much more pleasant than the other, but it was also late in the day, so I get it. The popcorn was going fresh and it was ON POINT! Very delicious! 👌 We ended up with a huge bag to bring home and I’ve shared it with those that have never heard of Comer’s and they too were impressed! The peanuts 🥜 are also delicious, though, they could use a bit longer cooking time as they are a little crunchy. The penny candy didn’t have old fashioned options so we didn’t buy any this round. Hope to see that change. The pricing is where I’m sure it has to be with the economy the way it is, but we spent nearly $60 for a bag of popcorn, a bag of peanuts, and a few candies. The visits will lessen due to such because we are all struggling monetarily, but I still cannot wait til I can return. The nostalgia and memories of Cromer’s will forever hold a special place for me & I hope they are forever a part of Columbia. ♥

Cromers is amazing, I keep dental insurance just so I can indulge in these delights. They have all types of popcorn and don't just mix with peanuts. You can find cashew caramel corn or pecan caramel corn, gotta love the extra step. "Old" school candy like the plastic bottles and coconut moon pies. COVID outside movie night, we have found our snacks. I had to buy the BBQ sauce for the name alone, what a hoot.

Great place for gourmet popcorn. In my opinion, its a little pricey but it taste delicious.
We also buy bulk raw spanish peanuts here.

My first time here since they moved years ago. This place is awesome. The smell of hot fresh popcorn was mouthwatering. The food menu delish and all the other things they offer is worth stopping by and grabbing some great snacks you and the family. Try them I promise you will be back for more.

This place is awesome. Come for the popcorn and peanuts, stay for all the various candies! Great service and friendly staff, and the Nostalgia factor was way up there. I'll be returning often for my boiled peanuts fix.
