We have been dealing with this store for many years. We have never had an issue with any prescriptions. The staff is always nice. Yvonne is probably one of the nicest, most competent persons we have ever worked with. The phone system acts up once in awhile but no one is perfect.

This review is for Shanna in particular but this location in general. You never have to wait in line, good service, polite and friendly staff, accurate work. Shanna in particular has gone to bat for us several times when there was an insurance glitch. The next time I came in, she wanted to make sure everything worked out. It’s nice to walk in and have her call me by name-even though I am not in more than once per month. They are not open on the weekends, being inside Shasta Community Health, but the service is worth adjusting to this limit.

My husband went to get his medicine today and it wasn't all ready. Arthur was on it. He had it ready right away. Every time we come in he is always there and is so helpful. Arthur is always in a great mood and keeps the line going quickly. We really appreciate you Arthur!!!!

I used this pharmacy for over a year before moving. I liked coming here, and never had an issue. The employees are friendly, helpful, and respectful. I have multiple chronic illnesses and I’m on a lot of different medications, so having a reliable pharmacy is important to me, and I think this location is pretty great.

I use the CVS/CAREMARK app, so I can request refills on my phone, and then get a text notification when the rx is filled and ready to be picked up. You definitely need to request refills before you run out- the pharmacist has to contact the dr’s office and maybe insurance, and that takes a couple days. That’s not anyone’s fault or anything, that’s just how pharmacies work. As long as you plan ahead a little, working with this CVS is very easy. They work pretty fast, too- I’ve had a couple occasions where a doctor wrote a prescription and sent it to CVS, and within an hour I received a text notification that my rx was ready to be picked up!

If you have a new prescription, be sure to go during the times the lead pharmacist is working- they are off from 12-1 and after 5 pm I believe. This person goes over your new prescription and tells you what to expect, any special instructions, and can answer your questions. Every time I’ve had a consultation with a pharmacist, they have seemed knowledgeable and willing to answer my questions.

They do have “rush hours” which can have a bit of a line. One employee told me that after 5 pm and on weekends they have way more customers, so if it’s possible, try to avoid those times.

They do not have chairs in the pharmacy waiting area/line, so if you have trouble standing for more than a few minutes, plan accordingly.

Great staff! I needed passport size photo and they helped me out quickly and the photos turned out amazing! I had been to walgreens lake boulevard for the same photo, the photos came out bad and so dark! I'm glad i went to this CVS store at Placer St. I had a suggestion, it would be great if you guys could place a board that says you also do passport size photos somwhere outside, cause the passport photo area is really not visible after entering inside!! I would recommend this place for your photos!

It's a good pharmacy and store. I enjoy the customer service. I used to pick up meds for clients at most of the pharmacys in town and I have to say this pharmacy is fairly easy to use and fast. No complaints. Your store is very clean with a good layout. I buy my makup remover at cvs and I have to say your selection is really great and up todate.

I have been using CVS on Placer for over fifteen years sometimes wish they were faster, the clerks have always been great, How could my experience be so differently than so many other people?

This is our go to pharmacy. The cashiers are sweet. They are the main reason why we go here. Just wish they had a drive thru.

I'm new in town and the pharmacist helped me change over my mess. The staff was very helpful.

Fast, clean and organized

I'll start this off by saying the male pharmacist here is very nice and helpful. I'm on a medication that gets alot of judgement. Because tweakers are taking it now. However I've been on this medication for 5years, before it was a 'thing'. my doctor's office is remodeling and didn't get a shipment for the medication so there is an outage on it citywide. After searching pharmacies this one said they could help me but to get here quickly because they were low on the medication. The girl at the front WAS RUDE! AND OBVIOUSLY JUDGMENTAL ABOUT WHAT I WAS TAKING. I just wanna say we're not all bad. I have 3 kids, go to college full time and am doing well for myself. This medication saved my life. So please remember that not everybody abuses medication, and be a little kind. I don't wanna walk out of your pharmacy in tears because you decided to state a opinion saying "there's like a million people on this medication" cool, that means it can save up to a million of people life's!

Great when you can get your prescription filled…I’ve been waiting over 3 weeks now and the only thing people can tell me is, “we’ve ordered it”.

Nasty cashier she had tatoos all over very unprofessional not presentable at all. I will tell her this next time I see her.
