Safeway Pharmacy

Have always had a good experience here. I know staff might not always be friendly and smile, but they are always businesslike and helpful. Thumbs up for work well done!

I have never had this level of service. I didn't think pharmacies had the staff to actually go over how, when and what not to take with your medication. They were so kind. There wasn't an ounce of, "hurry up, so I can take care of someone else."
This is not a complaint about other pharmacies. Their backs are too the wall. It's very difficult to hire enough employees anymore. That's why having the pharmacist come over, after the tech has rung you up, and spend the time you need to know that dairy and vitamins should not be taken within 2 hours before or after taking your prescription is such a pleasant surprise. These employees were kind, understanding AND efficient.

I just moved to town, and my husband informed me at 5pm he was out of a few of his medications…. After he took his last dose, and our old local pharmacy had closed for the evening. I told him he wouldn’t have his morning doses, but I would run down to Safeway so they could start the transfer. The tech looked through all of the bottles and realized how critical some of them were. Because of the holiday weekend, she grabbed the pharmacist to discuss them, and the pharmacist was concerned as well. They provided enough medication to get us through the weekend, which only our small pharmacy back in Tennessee has ever done. And I didn’t even ask because it was my husbands error, and I figured they would be filled by tomorrow night. Excellent quality of care.

Walked in for a shingles shot. No wait. Friendly and professional pharmacy manager administered the shot. Made an effort for me to pay less by explaining how timing the shots (there are two) could help me with insurance coverage

The new pharmacist is so nice and works hard to get your meds to you asap she is friendly and kind. I have seen upset people at the counter for things they cannot help with but my experience is they go out of there way to help even though it's clear they are scrambling to help everyone at the same time. Very greatful for them.

The pharmacist and pharmacy tech are amazing! They were incredibly attentive and worked very hard to make sure my families prescriptions were done right away! I can not say enough good things about these two!! Thank you!!

The Pharmacy staff are very nice and helpful!!! They are always very courteous and willing to help me!!!

The manager was wonderful at helping with a local event at the last minute. He provided outstanding customer service from start to finish!

I understand it is hard to find humans that want to work. But if you do not like other humans please do not work in this field. No one seems happy at the Safeway pharmacy. Maybe give them all a raise.

I am still waiting for a pleasant encounter. I still have not met one decently nice associate at this pharmacy. Also, apparently they have to shut down the entire pharmacy for an hour in the middle of the day - I guess they all have to hold hands and eat lunch together.

We don't care - we dont have to! Comes to mind with regards to this pharmacy's attitude toward service. My local doctor warned my so I use the Seaside location and have had great service there. Today my son is having his wisdom teeth pulled so I wanted close to dental office - shoulda made the drive to Seaside
