A great little candy store with the best deal on some great ice cream. Large serving for a great price. And the ice cream was delicious. You have to try Michigan pothole. It is sooo good. They also have a wall of candy. If you are in Manteo you have to stop by and give it a try.

The friendliest and most upbeat shop owner I've ever met. She was as sweet and vibrant as her store! The ice cream was delicious and there was a great variety of flavors. The owner was so engaging with all of our children and tried to make sure they got just the ice cream treat they were dreaming of. Can't recommend this shop enough to bring a smile to your face!

Very cute little sweet shop. The ice cream is delightful, I got the jolted cow (coffee, caramel, brownie bites) and was in heaven. The taffy and popcorn are also great! Very friendly staff and the only place that was open at the time, so it was just what we needed after a search during off season!

The Laughing Lollipop is an adorable sweets shop that sells candy ice cream and other treats. The store is vibrantly colored and lots of fun to visit and pick up a little something for yourself. The staff was very friendly and I highly recommend. 👍

Cute shop with some great looking chocolates & handmade ice cream...the cookies & cream was delicious, as was the coffee caramel cookie!!!

Giant scoops of ice cream, great selection of flavors and fresh made waffle cones! My kids also loved the fresh spun cotton candy!

Such wonderful, friendly service! The kettle corn was AMAZING, it was drizzled with chocolate and caramel and she put a dash of salt on it and OMG! Each of our kids picked out some goodies. It was nice to sit outside and take in the beautiful downtown of Manteo! It was pretty awesome to see kids park their bikes and skateboards outside and go in for ice cream and sodas! I love everything about this store!!

This little shop is so cute!! We got icecream and I got an old style soda! All was extremely delicious and the woman there was so nice and friendly!! She made the whole experience fantastic! She even helped me pick which soda to get because there was so many options and all sounded scrumptious!

FANTASTIC customer service and candy! I cannot say enough about the wonderful customer service at Laughing Lollipop! I ordered a Mother's Day gift over the phone and spoke with Frieda. This had its obvious set of challenges, as I was unable to see any of the product Laughing Lollipop had to offer. I was incredibly surprised when Frieda stayed on the phone with me for over 15 minutes and gave a detailed description of the candy, answered all of my questions, and provided suggestions (at my request) for how much of each item would be a good amount to order. I was already blown away by her patience and help, but then, she went over and above when she offered to hand-deliver my gift! She drove 30+ minutes (one way) to deliver the candy that she had beautifully wrapped & sent me photos once it had been delivered. I will for sure be ordering from Laughing Lollipop in the future, and the next time I'm in the area, I will be making a stop to purchase candy and personally thank Frieda for her help.

The staff is always friendly and helpful! The fresh wafflecones are a real treat. My favorite is the turtle tracks ice cream. Great selection of candy to choose from! They also have different flavors of cotton candy plus dinnin' dots.There is a small table to eat outside at, if you are lucky enough to go when it isnt too busy.

We love the Laughing Lollipop! The owner is very sweet and kind. The store is clean and has a wide variety of sweets and treats. Their ice cream is delicious! We are locals and will be returning very soon.

After a long drive to Manteo, we decided to walk around the area and see the cute shops. The owner was incredibly sweet and gave us tips on what to see and visit in the area. We got some saltwater taffy which we look forward to trying! Such a cute selection of candy items in the shop.

We made a late evening stop here while walking through Manteo. She was open while most stores were closed (post 6 PM). The owner was incredibly friendly and chatted us about the rum balls, the Tazo chocolate options and talked up other local businesses (the rum distillery). She even called the distillery to let them know we were coming since it was so close to closing time for them. This store has lots of candy choices - gummies, lollipops, salt water taffy, chocolate bars, local chocolates and so much more. It is a small, quaint shop, but a must do for candy lovers. They serve ice cream too but we had just eaten dinner and did not partake.

Awesome little candy shop near the Waterfront in Manteo. They do caramel apples on occasion, I love the toffee covered caramel apple. Organic cotton candy!!! I've heard rumors of ice cream coming in 2019. Excited to try it out!

Best ice cream in all of outer banks, and definitely a place to visit if you're in the area.

AWESOME! The cashier had eyeshadow that was so cool I can't even describe it. Mermaid magic maybe? Regardless, I had a great shopping experience and the kids loved what we got for them.
