Foot Traffic Sellwood

I’m still newish to running so I went to Foot Traffic in hopes of finding help by actual runners - and I was not disappointed. Riley was super knowledgeable and patient. I definitely tried on the options he laid out for me a few times, and he talked me through my experience with each one to help me better understand what might be best for my gait and style. I also learned a bunch of stuff I was not expecting about what I can pay attention to going forward. Gratefully he also made sure to ask if I wanted to avoid any colors - it may seem silly, but a true blessing for a woman who is tired of pink on everything. The sneakers I ended up choosing have been incredible! So comfortable, my feet and knees feel better, and I’m definitely able to run a little bit longer. I’ll definitely be back for another pair soon! And my dog who accompanies me on runs is also super pumped about them!

For 2 years I have been purchasing my running shoes biannually at this location. It's always a pleasure to see the same friendly and helpful staff.

Very knowledgeable team, excellent service, they keep a small inventory so sometimes you need to place an order. Convenient location in Sellwood. Had what I needed without having to go to a big box store.

Footwear is all about the sale people and the service and both are great here. My wife and I went, we both got outstanding fittings, they watched my wife on the treadmill and gave lots of alternative shoes that worked for her. They were really friendly. We will definitely be going back.

Yeah I liked it. Felt liked they cared about my size. Had to order an 8 and waited a few days. Courtesy call that the shoes came in. No deals on union members at all, however if you sign up for email they will send u a 5 percent off. Haven't see the email yet so time will tell.
Update 4/14/21 My other order is in.
Going in to test drive them out. I'm hoping they will work. Read the comments from the owner about the 5 percent deal.

Had a great experience! Staff was super helpful and I learned a lot about the differences between some of the shoes I had on. Was in and out quickly and settled on a pair of shoes I'm really happy with. If you stop by, Tom Thake was super engaging and could answer all my questions no problem. 10/10 recommend.

Excellent customer service. They go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. During my first visit in the store I inquired about a particular pair of shoes. They let me know that they hadn't received their shipment, the shoes hadn't been released yet by Altra. The store manager told me they'd let me know when the shoes arrived, they even took the extra step of having a pair transferred from there Vancouver store for me as soon as they came in.

I walked in on Friday and a person in the store spent maybe half an hour with me so I could try on like 10 different pairs of shoes to find the best fit for me. I haven't run in a long time so I was kind of intimidated by all the choices, but they made it really easy. And I love my new shoes. Thank you. (:

I am extremely pleased not only with the shoes, and socks I got at Footwise, but the customer service from Andrew, was exemplary. He took time to listen to me, as we talked and explored different options and types of shoes; he brought me 5 pairs of shoes to try and he sat with me while I tried them on. We chatted as I walked around the store and I asked some questions which he answered thoroughly. Very happy to recommend Footwise to others.

Small shop, excellent customer care. I needed a new pair of trail/hiking shoes and I happened to drop in to Foot Traffic in Sellwood. The selection, by large chain standards is small, but the quality more than made up for variety.

I tried on three pairs of shoes before settling on Hoka OneOne brand shoes. The two staff members were very helpful in the fitting process, and they made very good recommendations based on my desires and fitting.

Foot Traffic has great technology to assist you in finding the right shoe for you! Allie was incredible in helping us understand the why's & whats of shoes, why we needed certain kinds & to stay away from others based on our feet needs. She was knowledgeable on the inventory & despite how busy she was, she took the time with us. My only negative was the lack of inventory on larger sizes, needed woman's size 12. Not one style did they have in that size, and limited size 11. Even tall gals like good shoes! No worries, Special Order= 2 weeks.

Staff are always helpful and friendly. They are knowledgeable about running and footwear but not pushy. Kid friendly too. Play area and water tank are nice to have. We are a big fan of supporting Foot Traffic,

Gait analysis on a treadmill to determine pronation for what type of shoe you need and plenty of selection. Tried on about 5 or 6 pairs of shoes and found the pair I liked. Andrew was super helpful.
