We took a guitar that my son and I built from a kit here. Wasn't all of the way together and really needed some expertise getting it right. Mike did an excellent job - he was interested in us having the right guitar, not one that we poured a lot of money into. He advised us on the right hardware for my son and not upgrading things that he didn't feel was worth upgrading. An honest man with great knowledge and skill. Thanks Mike!

Mike is knowledgeable and took time to teach me so much about my guitar. He was flexible and generous with his time and I am very glad my guitar instructor referred me to him. Mike changed the strings on my guitar and it sounded fantastic when I played it. Thanks to him, I feel confident in tuning my guitar and replacing strings. I will still bring it to him for maintenance because he's an expert at what he does.

Mike does good work! Honest, thorough, down-to-earth, a real nice pleasant guy, and willing to answer all sorts of questions. He's worked on my acoustics, electrics, and amps over the years. He's got a lot knowledge and skill, and seems to give the same attention and care to all work whether it's "high end" or "low end" stuff. It's great to have a go-to person to trust. Mike recently tuned up and fixed my martin acoustic guitar. It was buzzing out on certain notes and generally not working well. I got it back and it plays great and feels like a new guitar! Mike definitely is an expert and is fairly priced. Highly recommend.

Michael did a fantastic job on my electric octave mandolin recently. I really appreciated his willingness to work on an oddball project and he was not only more than reasonably priced, but he took great care to listen to my concerns and was communicative throughout. Very accommodating about turn around time, and my axe played and sounded great when I got it back. Can't speak highly enough about the work he did for me. He loves what he does and it shows. My guitar needed some work..she is 50 years old. After that amount of time we all need work. I took her out of the gig bag and he was happy to have her in his shop. He explained to me everything. I truly enjoyed talking to him.

luthiers can be a fickle bunch. luckily Mike is easy to work with, does great work, and is young enough to have not yet gone crazy from the glue and solder fumes. highly recommended.

I brought my guitar here for a setup and the guys did an awesome job for a very reasonable price. The shop is super cool, too. I'll definitely bring guitars here in the future.
