Danielson Surplus Sales

When I'm driving thru Danielson I always drive past this store, finally was able to stop in and check this store out. Love that they carry Carhartt clothing and other name brand clothing, they also have a shoe department also. I'm glad I finally came in and got what I needed and will be back again.

Been in multiple times for town athletic gear and work shoes. We are fortunate to have this shop on main st.

This store is awesome! They had Wrangler Riggs pants and it a lot of sizes. Lots footwear including Keen, Vasque, 511, Merrill. And did I mention the Gigantic selection of Socks. We will definitely come here again. They also had lots of sporting wear and Boy Scout & Girl Scout apparel.

This is a great clothing store especially for outdoorsy or blue collar people. I'm not sure if its all American made but most of it is. Wolverine, keen, Merrell, and catapillar are some of the brands. Family owned and operated, staff is tremendous. Also excellent selection of masks for the covid. I find it much better than the big box stores or Amazon.

Like many locals I grew up going to the Surplus...I love the fact that not much has changed since the 70's..they still support all the local schools with the various sweatshirts, hats ,coats etc. Love the small town charm and appreciate that the staff always are helpful yet give you the space you need to shop without any pressure whatsoever! Bought some clothing items I couldn't find elsewhere at a good price! Hoping the current owners have many years of success to come!!! Please don't change a thing!!!!

Always a great visit. The only place I buy my workboots from. Good selection and the staff always go above and beyond to help the customers. I will continue to shop here, I like the customer service you get from the small businesses than the big chain stores.

Great store had everything I needed and not as expensive as I thought will be going back

The owner Warren is intimately involved in any order you place. They are the areas main supplier of customized materials for local schools and organizations. He knows many of his businesses on a first-name basis, and has a very attentive nature to all of his customers needs. He's very willing to work with any kind of specialty or exotic order you may have to the best of his ability. He has an extensive network of suppliers he works with so is able to get most anything you may need including odd sizes and materials. The shop is located in a central location, and it has its own parking in downtown.

It's a bit $, BUT I will say this everything I've gotten from here was of the highest quality and lasted triple the time. I still have boots from almost 3 year's ago still water proof and plenty of rubber on the boots, I was kinda shocked. Sports gear, shoes, boots and plenty more inside

My first and only experience buying something at Danielson Surplus, but they have a customer for life! I can see why they've been open so long! I dealt directly with the owner who took the time to explain the differences between the 2 boots I was looking at for my son. Warren even had the patience of a saint as I had to call my son, then wait for a call back, to verify his boot size! No pressure up-sell on weatherproofing. I had to ask about it first. You don't get this kind of service ANYWHERE else except small, local businesses; thank goodness I live in a part of CT where they are plentiful in the town's around where I live

I like to buy from the small business rather than the big box stores. I buy from the hard working man, because that's who I am, and that's who I care about. So if you are looking for your next pair of shoes for running or boots for work look no further. Danielson surplus sales has them.
