I went in to replace some joycons. I had no problem getting them changed out. Was greeted when i came in. (and the gentleman was helping someone else.) While he was helping me, he greeted other costumers. I didn't feel like i was being rushed to finish my purchase. Overall great experience.

The guys working there today really helped me out. Is it weird to call them angels? 😅 I'm just so grateful. Haha I have a working headset again, and I can now sleep peacefully at night. Definitely recommend this GameStop on customer service alone.

Told me about a sale I didn't know going on so I could get a free game when buying 2 used games! Great advice on game purchases, super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Knew all about the pro program and sold me on returning again despite swearing i wouldn't, and let me knkw about the benefits that woukd make it worth retuening to the PowerUp Pro program!

My boyfriend and I are very well known for this store. The staff is very friendly, energetic, knowledgeable and they have great humor. I'm not just saying this because they're great, but also advising people to get to know the staff. They are just like everyone else, yes they may work for gamestop, but they have to work and earn a living too. Be easy on them and the reviews you give. If you really get to know and socialize with the staff you'd come to realization they are great people and know their stuff. Prices are great, may not be fully stocked like most gamestops but its a start and a true convenience for those who live close by. I will miss this location alot come July when move. The manager Dillion and of his associates Sam are the best and very accommodating!

Good selection of games available, the website accurately reflects what is in stock, the store is large enough to shop without feeling crowded, the associate was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

GameStop is usually by choice for used game purchases due to the discounts sigh their loyalty program and their return policy which allows a 7 day return period on all used games so if you don't end up liking game you can get a different one or your money back. Unless you get some neat swag by preordering games, don't. Preordering doesn't give you an advantage (but it helps out your associate if you're feeling good-willed). If you purchase games or accessories often their Pro Program gets you 10% off all used merchandise and an additional 10% in trade credit for merchandise you bring in which adds up overtime.

This gaming store is great. Everything ranging from a small nicnac to a ps4 are selling for a good price. The rewards program is great & the customer service is great. The guys working there are very useful and know their stuff

The entire staff there is super helpful and friendly, especially the store manger, Austin. They have helped me out countless times and gone above and beyond to make sure my experience in their store was amazing.

I enjoy all GameStop's as my experience has shown that all their staff at all locat i ns tgus far are helpful and knowledgeable. I value the staff's input on games and their professionalism when offering advice on upgrades, memberships, up-comimg games etc..i have no idea if GameStop as a franchise has a hiring/training policy guidelines, but any store I've gone to their associates are legit. I have been going to game stop for years now between Tacoma's Pearl St. location and Gig Harbor's Olympic Drive location and have had nothing but great experiences.

The number of workers at Tacoma's location that have an innate knowledge of the games that are out and that are coming out is almost overwhelming. Every time I have ever had a question, they are fully engaging in giving you an answer and helping you make the right decision, even if it means NOT buying a game.

I would recommend this shop to any gamer, avid or casual, to shop and experience feedback and gamer knowledge.

If I could give them five stars twice I would. I didn't have enough money for tax so the guy serving me gave me a discount so I could afford my game!

Pretty good place to go to. Got a pink DSi from the place, and the cashier was nice to give me it. I'm proud to say, I'm pretty happy with this locations customer service.
