Very nice little wine and liquor store. Owner was very helpful. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff! We didn’t get to browse too much due to a time crunch, but we got in and out by asking the friendly staff about a product not sold by many other retailers. We will be back in to browse when we are back in town!

I continue to have great experiences with this store. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and will recommend exactly what your looking for. They have a great vibe and good selection of new old red white and sparkling. Worth your time.

Being a Novice to whiskey / bourbon Sam has graciously opened his doors and has exemplified what a small business is all about! He has let me sample inumerous types of bourbon and whiskey to help me in my palette of finding the right one for me. I implore you to stop into this Local and enjoy everything Sam has to offer, I was personally messaged by him today and offered some items , though they weren’t what I was looking for he took time out of his day to offer me a hard to acquire bottle. This world needs more Sams in it! I will be stopping down to try that Old Elk for sure ! Thank you to Sam at Bag and String! 5+star rating from down the street !

Wonderful to have a local specialty liquor store in Chautauqua County. The selection is wonderful and the pricing is excellent. Rare and limited edition Whisky and Whiskey (Scotch salute) helpful and knowledgeable staff. . We make special trips just to go. Ask about the wine club!

They have one of the best wine selections I've ever seen! We get nearly all the wine we drink from here. The staff is very knowledgeable on the selections and is very helpful if you can't figure out what you want to buy.

I dropped by on my way back to People's Republic of Pennsylvania - the land no-one can ship wines to - to pick up some finger lakes wine other than the Concord, Catawba and Niagara my State imports into their government stores.
Their selection is AWESOME! They have tasting notes on all the bottles. I doubt there's a bad wine in the entire store.
The staff is very knowledgable and was very helpful.
I also picked up a German Trocken from Pfalz (hard to find in PA), and a White Burgundy that was an awesome find for the price.

I highly recommend Bag n String. There is a fantastic variety of wines and a knowledgeable staff who are very helpful in selecting the wines just for you. Personalized service, great wines at great price...can't beat it!
