Great spot for lunch and the happy hour specials are decent as well. The service is always good. Could use better utensils but that's kind of a nitpick. The chips and salsa IMO are the best around!

I got the 3 enchiladas plate recommend asking for lettuce tomato sour cream and guacamole. Delicious and a lot to eat without a doubt best Mexican cuisine above Seattle. Highly recommended to make the drive if your far away , happy hour deals are crazy, amazing atmosphere and service

Fresh chips & in house made salsa will be at your table before you hang your coat up, your drink before you roll up your sleeves & the food will knock your socks off, the only question is how are you still wearing clothes…aptly named after the feisty Chihuahua, because…well, let’s just say it’s a rare breed, nom nom nom.

I get the same thing everywhere I go, my wife gets everything else to broaden life. I have to save after trying every one else’s from Ithaca NY, to Los Angeles, Chihuahua Mexican Restaurant surpasses them all - by a lot.

Parking: clean lot, plenty of spots, we were able to park literally in front of the rear exit.

Bathrooms are clean.

Staff is amazing.

My go to place for authentic Mexican food!

Every item on the menu is delicious and plenty of food. All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable in regards to the food and drinks. The beans are so good and I would recommend you get them with your meal.

One of the tope 3 restaurants in authentic Mexican food in long time. Went there with family on the Friday night. The service from the staff is very high standard and quick. The flavour of each food item we ordered were upto the mark. Frankly was a bit surprised with the huge portion size and drinks. Overall I recommend this place for every kind of group / individual.

Good Mexican food with friendly staff and quick service. The place has cool mexican vibes and excellent menu.
I liked Dos XX Amber beer, people who don't like very malt and hop taste can try it.
Tried vegetarian options Stuffed Jalapenos, Two Tacos Combo, Egg option Small Combo relleno and Side -Chicken burrito in non veg.
Queso is ready good. Can be considered as a food stop while traveling Between US and Canada.

I tried to make a reservation online with Google, and there was a mix up. We needed 4 more chairs on a super and even though they were incredibly busy, the staff was so kind and patient and helpful getting us all seated. They never showed any stress and were absolutely amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Its about as authentic as you can get for not being in Mexico. Close to the peace arch border. Within 20 minutes.

We've eaten here for years. The food and service is always amazing! We tried their online ordering system for the first time tonight and I give it a 10/10. The process was easy, quick and well packaged for transport. It arrived home hot and delicious as always! Thank you!

Having been to their food truck in Maple Falls & @ Kulshan Brewery (K2), I looked forward to some tasty Mexican food--and I was NOT disappointed! But I really appreciated the atmosphere of the brick & mortar location in Ferndale. The servers were attentive but not pushy as we lingered over drinks and a late dinner with friends. The space is large and got a bit loud, but never excessive. Several TV's (sound muted) displayed various sports teams, providing an optional distraction.

All in all, it was a great experience at a reasonable price--we will definitely return!

This is the best sit down Mexican restaurant in Ferndale. Their ambiance is fun and inviting with a great vibe. Their chicken mole enchiladas are tasty with a sweet edge to them. Their salsa is good too. I can't say I have tried much else because I keep ordering the mole enchiladas every time I go back. Service is always good and the food always arrives quickly.

Good food served piping hot, large portions, friendly staff. The lunch menu is good value, including a happy hour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with delicious margaritas for $4.50.

I stumbled across Chihuahua while in Ferndale on business and I have found a gem. Great food, I had the Carne Asada recommended by Maria at the bar, and Javier made the best margarita I have ever had. The food, drinks and service were second to none and hanging out with these two characters was more fun than watching my sister fall down the stairs. They didn't even charge extra for the entertainment. Watching these two dance around behind the bar was like witnessing a Cirque du Soleil show. I will be back!

The best Mexican place I’ve been to in a decade. I will be back for sure! We ordered about $70 worth of food and we couldn’t finish. Portion sizes are great and the drink choices were exceptional. I can’t suggest anything on the menu because it was all good

I would highly recommend this place. Food taste was excellent, ambience was really authentic and service was great!
