This place was so TREMENDOUS! I’d seen an Instagram reel and everything looked great so I decided I’d give it a try. My partner and I drove out to find this place and loved the vibe inside immediately. When we reviewed the menu, honestly we were unsure of what most of the items were and the lovely man behind the counter saw the look in our eye and kindly asked if we’d been in before and if we wanted some recommendations. Following his recs, we ended up ordering a mango lassi, the Chana Bhatura (AMAZING! 🔥), the Paneer Tikka, and the Chili Paneer with Gravy which is on their Indo-chinese section of the menu - it ended up being both of our favorites!!
The service was excellent and we interacted with several different emoloyees while we were in there, even the manager or owner (not sure which) came over to ask us how everything was and chatted for a little while, she was very kind and wanted to earnestly make sure we enjoyed it all.
Spice level on the food was perfect! Atmosphere was clean and open and the food was very fresh and delicious with a brilliant mix of flavors, very well balanced. This is definitely going to be in our regular rotation of restaurants!

A side note, use Google maps to arrive at this location as Apple maps will bring you the back way and leave you a bit turned around.

We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Went to the Indian because we were in search of a new Indian restaurant, little did we know that we would walk into our new favorite spot. The people at the counter were very helpful, answered all of our questions regarding spice levels and flavors. The food was amazing, completely blown away by the flavors and presentation. The lentils(dal makhani)are possibly some of the best lentils I have ever had in my entire life. The Malai Kofta was absolutely incredible as well. They even gave me and my wife an anniversary slice of pineapple cake(made with no egg). The Gulab Jamun dessert was an amazing way to finish off the meal. Great service, AMAZING food, great atmosphere, what more do you want? Do yourself a favor and eat here!!

Our new favorite restaurant for veg dishes. Every entree was flavorful without being too spicy. Portions were great. The Chana Batura and pani puri were excellent.

Was in the neighborhood for something else. At lunch time, thought of exploring this place - and happy about my visit 😀

Lots of colorful Mural art decorated walls surround the dining area - good retro ambiance. Mr Raghuveer suggested Shahi Paneer when I was looking for something less spicy. That dish just melted in mouth with delicious taste. Paneer cubes were bigger in size in a thick gravy. The accompanying rice portion was more than what I saw in several other restaurants.

Sweet Corn soup was also really good. Lots of tiny vegetables - again more than what we get at other places.

Service is quick. First you order then pay. Food will come to your table.

Will try visiting again with family to relish the South, North, and Chinese mix. Clean restrooms as well.

Parking could be narrow, crowded.

I can't believe they serve sizzlers here, that too with authentic taste, trued the Manchurian sizzler which was like how I used to have in India, also tried Bombay Sandwich which was delicious as well and Ras malai which I will say was okay. Overall I am recommending it to everyone because of the sizzlers and also since it's Pure Veg restaurant so +1 on that as well

Nathu's Sweets
Vegetarian Indian Restaurant in Decatur GA serving authentic North Indian food - mainly Delhi delicacies in addition to several other items on the menu. Located close to Cherian International grocery beside Malani Jewellers. Great selection of Chats and several other North Indian favorites. Plenty of free parking. Friendly and polite staff. Definitely a great location if you want to try any of these items

I was really excited that Nathu’s sweets was opening in Atlanta. We had a great time relishing the food here on March 16th, 2024. We were a group of 8 with few kids. We ordered plenty of food and all dishes tasted amazing. We ordered Veg Manchurian sizzler, Chole bhatura, pao bhaji, momos, masala dosa, chilli paneer gravy, veg Hakka noodles, rasmalai and cold coffee. Bhaturas and sizzler were close to what you get in Delhi. All the food was really well seasoned and had the right spice to it. They even made the noodles and masala dosa non-spicy for kids. Their portion size, taste, presentation and service was really great. We would definitely visit again and would like to try other options as well.

Nathu Sweets in Decatur, located behind Patel Brothers, is a true culinary gem that effortlessly earned my 5-star rating. The self-service system, where you order at the counter and receive a numbered tag, added a convenient touch to the dining experience. Choosing my own table amidst a lively atmosphere heightened the personal touch.

Now, let's talk about the culinary delights. The Gobi Manchurian was a flavor explosion, perfectly balancing crispiness with a rich Manchurian sauce. Equally remarkable was the epic Shahi Paneer, a symphony of creamy paneer and luscious Shahi gravy that showcased the chef's expertise.

The restaurant's popularity was evident – every table was full except for one, which I was fortunate to snag. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff ensured prompt and attentive service, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to excellence.

In conclusion, Nathu Sweets is a must-visit for its unique self-service experience, exceptional dishes like Gobi Manchurian and Shahi Paneer, and the lively ambiance that comes with a full but vibrant dining space. Five stars well-deserved!

Nathu's is fairly new as compared to the other Indian restaurants in the same area. My first visit to this place I liked it. The ambiance is nice with helpful and friendly staff. The menu is all vegetarian. So if you are thinking of any options for meat you'll be disappointed.
Zara (hope I got your name right) was a real delight. She guided us through the menu and recommended some gems like paneer tikka from the tandoori menu and the veg manchurian sizzler. She also frequently came and checked in on us to ensure everything was OK.
The paneer tikka, I think, was the best that I've had so far. The paneer(cottage cheese) is homemade, was soft, well cooked, very flavorful, and a delight to eat. The sizzler was pretty good, taste wise, and very filling.
The smell and the sizzling sound were awesome as the dish was brought to us.
Zara mentioned that weekends are crazy busy, and since the sizzlers take at least 30 mins to prepare,it's not available over the weekend. So if you want sizzlers, make sure you go on a week day. We went on Thursday, and the place was pretty empty. You also get some South Indian dishes like masala dosas, which I'll be trying next time I'm there.
We also had puri and chole. Puri is fried fluffy bread, and chole is a chickpeas gravy. The way they cook the chickpeas make it feel to be overcooked and just melts in your mouth. We were having this variety of chole for the first time, and we thought they might have overcooked it. Zara said, "No, that is how it is supposed to be."
There are plenty of sweets available there which are all handmade. You can know this by just looking at it. The burfis are not uniform and have rough edges, giving you a feeling they are handmade. We had a pistachio burfi (not the green one), and it was good.
There is also a few drinks like lassis available.
There, inside seating, can hold about 30-40 people. There is no patio seating.
Parking in front seemed limited. Not sure if there is any additional parking at the back.
Overall, a place I definitely I want to visit again to sample their other dishes

Nathu’s is one of the only restaurants in the neighborhood doing the Delhi food right! Their chole bhature were delicious and very very close to the real deal we get back in India. One of the highlights was having a sizzler after a very long time. Kulfi falooda was great as well. Ambience is fun and staff is very courteous and helpful. Loved everything about it!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Nathu’s today! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. Raghuveer, the manager, stood out for his kindness and professionalism. From Chole Bhatura to chilly paneer sizzler, dhokla, momo’s, and paneer tikka, every dish was flavorful, but the Paneer Tikka stole the show for me. The staff's warm welcome added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Mouth watering delicacies ...
Nathu's is now here in Atlanta!
Of course the crown of the menu - Chholey Bhatoorey
But don't stop there...
any North Indian sabji
Any Indo-chineese noodles
Any chaat... They all can be prepared without Onion and Garlic
And they still taste delicious just like back in India.

Absolutely recommended!!!
