One of the best mechanics around, and he is extremely honest, almost to a fault. I have brought several bikes in for service here and the most recent one had been sitting for a few years and when I was telling him what I wanted I mentioned the obvious; an oil change, and he said, “I could do it, but I wouldn’t recommend it.” I asked why and he explained that since the bike had been sitting for so long that it would be far better off for me to ride the bike about 200 miles and THEN change the oil, the reason being all of the contaminants would be settled to the bottom of the bike to the point where it would be a waste of my money. He said he would like to have that money, but he wanted to be honest with me.

After he did all of the other work to the bike; bringing it back from the dead basically, and for less than the other dealers I checked with wanted, I did the oil change just as he suggested. That may of cost him money, but it earned my respect and all of my future business, as it rare these days to find a mechanic who is so honest.

You not only get great service here, but you also get an education. And I’ve been riding motorcycles for about 40 years.

My family and I have been coming to The Cycle Center since I was a young. Both Kendall and Nancy have ALWAYS been courteous and respectful in any interactions we have had. They are honest, small business owners, and they will not nickel and dime you for anything. They hold safety as a high priority, and will refuse any unlawful motorcycle alterations or installations. Some might find that to be "off-putting", but I value that in a business I give money too. I refuse to purchase any motorcycles from any other dealer, and I strongly encourage people to give this business a chance!!

Best motorcycle shop in town! They have always treated me fair with a fair price. Definitely the place to go to get service work done professionally and properly. Their technician has to be one of the best in the business. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality work with no BS. They are not afraid to make a honest assessment and tell it like it is. Some people do not like that style of business these days, but I can guarantee you, you will be better off because of it.

This one of the last true American style, privately owned motorcycle dealers around. I absolutely love this shop. True motorcycle enthusiasts who actually know what they are talking about and equally important, know what they are doing!

They only mount and balance their own stores tires, do not bother coming to a place that wants to rip off people. Im glad i left immediatly, the bike shop down the road glady worked on my cycle for a cheap rate.

Well, I'm new to the area and looking for a shop to do work on my Yamaha road star. I was considering this as an option, it's the closest place to me, but after reading the responses of the owner, NO, JUST NO. Almost every rating mentions the rude lady on the phone. That's not a coincidence, it's a matter of truth.
Glad I read the reviews. Won't be doing business with this place. I'll ride the extra 5 miles to place further north.
To the owner, you NEVER blame the customer in customer service, you do what is necessary to keep their business. You'll one day learn, the customer is NVER wrong.
Good luck.

Didn't feel like doing the work myself after moving furniture for 1500 miles so I used this "recommended" shop. I had let my bike sit up back home for a while so the jets gummed up. They charged me $403.09 to do it (this is with me pulling the carbs and taking them in to the shop). Fast forward a year and a half later, they were plugged again. Thanks to their "motivation", I fixed them for $45 and an hour of time. I don't mind paying for a service, but had I known that I was gonna be reamed for their service, I'd have said thanks, but no thanks.

Wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone. Called today to try and find a price quote on cleaning 2 carburetors on a motorcycle. Gave them make model and year. The Lady acted like she cared. When i asked for a quote or estimate she laughed and said thats not how it works. She said she has to replace any part that are damaged that they come across. Funny how i called 2 other shops here in town that were able to quote me quickly and very professionally. (Prices including carb kits and without) This business seems to be pretty shady and lacks basic moral ethics. 95% of mechanic shops can give estimates on basic mechanical procedures. Also leaving a review with the BBB on Unethical business practices. I cant believe somewhere like this can still be open.
