Hop Time Growlers and Gourmet Oils

Best selection of growler fills on the peninsula. Fair prices. The owner knows his beer and is happy to share a recommendation (though come with a better idea of what you want than "something tasty". Why would he carry a beer he didn't think was good?) He does a free taco bar Friday night which is a really nice incentive to get more beer.

Be aware it's a sample shop so the most you can get is a flight I'd love to see him able to get his license to do more as this type of shop with the selection of beer he has if something the peninsula desperately needs.

Owner is very friendly and accommodating, offering samples of everything on tap. Beer is definitely not cheap but I can always find something that I haven't seen in local stores or restaurants. And, it's only a mile or so from my house, which is convenient.

I don’t drink beer, but I do come for the balsamic vinegars and flavored oils! The coconut balsamic is magical! It’s great on anything! I use it straight for my salads, no oils necessary! I use the bacon flavored oil to cook with when I want a hint of bacon without having to use bacon fat. And did I mention the vinegars make great gifts! They’re unique and coupled with other items in a basket, you have instant fancy-shmancy gift basket!

Loved this place when we lived out there! The owner is super knowledgeable and really nice. The oils were delicious. We love to cook... and drink so this place was fun for us to visit!

Love this place! Yes, some prices are high, but its not beer you can usually get in a regular brew store.
