My wife had lost one of her earrings that were given her by our daughter. They had been a sentimental gift over 2 years ago. On a chance, my wife stopped at the Fred Meyer Jewelry store in Issaquah. The sales associate "Lew" took it upon herself to find an exact replacement. "Lew" went to the trouble to look up the original purchase. She called back about 4 days later and had found the exact item, the last pair in the entire store chain's inventory in the NW! Thanks to the extra effort by "Lew", we continue to be satisfied customers of Fred Meyer Jewelers.

The watch repair guys at this location are amazing, kind, and generous. They replaced a bracelet on my dad's watch and did not even charge me for a brand new bracelet!!!

My review is based solely on my experience re: a watch repair that I requested in July 2017: In July 2017, I brought my watch to Fred Meyer Jewelers to repair a broken crown and replace the crystal. To their credit, they did not try to upsell me, and they told me that it might make more sense to buy a new watch than to spend the money on those repairs. With the benefit of hindsight, I should've heeded that advice. Instead, I asked them to proceed with the repairs. I was told that the repair would take about two weeks. But, it took them more than three months just to get the parts -- and during those three months, they weren't great about calling me with updates. Then, once they finally got the parts, they called to tell me that there were additional problems with the watch, i.e., a broken date wheel and dead kinetic battery. To their credit, they offered to comp me to replace the battery. But, at that point, I didn't want to pay the additional cost to fix the broken date wheel (or wait another three months for them to get the parts), or pay for partial repairs that would not leave the watch fully functional. Bottom line, after three months of waiting, instead of going home with a fully functional watch, I declined all of the repairs and donated the watch to them for parts. As noted above, I sincerely give them credit where it's due. But, in light of this experience, I'd be strongly disinclined to take a watch here for any repair that would require them to order parts.

Very busy and very crowded. However Fred Meyer's is a very nice store to go to.

Almost gave a 1 star, but they were very accommodating in person and able to make the wanted adjustments to my purchase. However when it came time to pick up my purchase, they couldn't find it. I had driven over a hour round trip to pick it up because I was called and told it was ready. When I called the next day, they couldn't find it over the phone, they couldn't even find my purchase. Finally with my maiden name (9 years old) they were able to find the order, but not the item. I got put on hold again so they could "double check" and yes it was found. However, I don't know when I can make the hour plus round trip again. They can't ship it to me, because I still need to pay for the stone replacement and they can't do that over the phone. I'll probably be returning my purchase and buying elsewhere.

Too pricey and they charge 3% for credit cards. $77 for watch battery change, and 3% on top of it for non cash payments.

I took my wedding ring which was my grandfathers wedding ring to have sized bigger. The first person there used the wrong sizer to check my size. They sized it too big. I took it back to them to have them size it correctly. Which they did. When I looked at the ring I noticed the width of the ring was not the same in the section where they sized it. I took it back to them and showed them. They were very nice and said no problem we will fix it. When I went back again it wasnt fixed. At this point the told me to come in and speak with the jewler, which I did. Explained the problem he saw it and said he could fix it. A week and a half or two weeks later I go in to pick up my ring and it has the same issue. Again the manager was very nice, but basically said we did the best we could do.
At the end of all of it the ended up giving me a refund. Although the manager was very nice, the jewler that worked on my ring, and the salesperson I first saw were incompetent.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR JEWLERY THERE!

Watch your price when the checker weighs you bulk goods! Almost everytime I go to this location, I'm over charged by them not paying attention to the items pressing on the scale. They always have items in the way and today, my $7.49 a pound coffee was over $20! I would do self checkout if I were only buying a few things but unfortunately I'm traveling to get to this location and going back is a huge inconvenience. I have already told customer service about this once and I will be doing it again.
