Copper Pasty

This adorable little pasty shop has replaced our fast food runs and we are so glad. The miner is my personal favorite - buttery with local beef and rutabagas… and service is always kind and happy. They also have drinks, chips and dessert. Great for take out or warming up inside. Stop here!!

Stopped in today because we'd never had pasties before. What a treat! (I almost hate to give five stars because I want to keep this place a secret, but I won't.) It's a cute little place, spotlessly clean, the food is hot and delicious, and the folks who work there are very kind. This makes for a good combo!

Parking is on the street and there is limited seating inside. We had no problems but it could possibly be a tight fit.

We tried the miners pasty and the Irish. Both were so delicious we ended up leaving with a breakfast one and a whole sack of vegetarian pasties.

I'm pretty sure we'll be back!

Delicious pasties. Tried both the Irish and miners pasty, both very good but my favorite was the miners. The pasties are filling, hearty and a very satisfying lunch. I would love to see a gluten free pasty on the menu!

This little pasty shop on Main Street is amazing! Stopped in for lunch today and it was perfect! Friendly lady that helped us with our orders:) I got the traditional pasty which tasted so good! Fresh and homemade, cannot go wrong. Thank you!

Have eaten Pasties for 50+ years. This is the best I have eaten!!! Father traveled the UP for work for 30+ years and chased the very best Pasties all those years. I found the Copper Pasties by accident today in Ashland. Raced home to try the Miner pasty, wow. Awesome with flavors. My Dad would have truly enjoyed these Pasties and most likely only come thru the front door with these incredibly Pasties! Can’t wait to try the breakfast Pasties soon!

Decided to stop here for lunch on our drive home from visiting the Apostle Islands. The pasties were absolutely delicious!! My husband had the breakfast pasty and I had the Miners. They were incredibly filling, and I loved that they had fresh or frozen options so that we could take some back home. Would absolutely recommend stopping here when in the area!

Visiting the Bayfield area from Illinois, and as soon as we found out there was a place serving pasties, we had to check it out! We were not disappointed. Had a nice conversation with the owner - very friendly! Will definitely be back if we're in the area.

Hours may end up spotty at first due to selling out, but this place is SOOOOOOO fabulous! Came here to eat on opening date, and had the best pasties ever, they where telling people they where sold out of at least one kind after just 30 minutes. Line back to door the whole time I was there including walking in the door after it was open just 2 minutes. catch them open and try them!

Highly recommend trying Coppee Pasty! We had the breakfast pasty and it was incredibly delicious! The potatoes were cooked to perfection and the balance of spices was excellent! Delectable tastebud party!!! Thanks Copper Pasty!

LOVE this place. I'm from out of town but I bring home frozen pasties when I can. I've had miners pasty, Irish pasty, and breakfast pasty, all very good.
