Browns Bagel Shop

We recently moved to the area and have tried other bagels places but were not impressed. We found Browns online this morning and decided to check it out. Bought a dozen and now we can honestly say we found the best. Being a native New Yorker I know what a good bagel taste likes. We highly recommend Browns as the best! We will be back !

Such a nice independent shop! Everything is always so fresh and delicious, and the service is so friendly. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Newmarket

Excellent bagels! I had purchased a dozen for my family, and not one was left. Just like the bagels I used to get in NYC. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. My niece loved the jalapeño cheddar bagels! 😍

Truly worthy bagels.
Fresh spreads, and an excellent variety of bagel types , including Salt , which is a personal favorite of mine.
I feel that they compare favorably with the bagels at Great Barrington Bagel Company. Brown's are a bit larger. And,the crowds are similar in size in the a.m. No inside seating at Brown's.

Best bagels in NH. I love their sourdough and english muffin bagels the best, and their homemade cream cheese are so yummy. It's always hard to choose which one I want. The owner is super nice and the staff is always friendly. I always recommend this place to people looking for good bagels. Yum.

Jess Brown's bagel shop is a little slice of heaven! BEST bagels I've ever had, and I've been to some of the most popular bagel shops in New York City. Adorable little shop with great atmosphere and amazing food. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu, so many wonderful and creative homemade options! If I didn't live over half an hour away I'd be there every morning.

Very high quality bagels. Fast and friendly service. They have a nice quiet sitting area if you'd like to eat inside, I prefer to get my bagels to go. Food comes out faster than the chains and it tastes so much better. The bacon is so flavorful I get hungry just thinking about it.

Great food and a nice relaxing atmosphere. The owner remembers her customers by name and knows what they like and makes things custom for her regulars all the time. Its got that small town feel to it. Everything is made fresh to order and the kitchen is clean and food is handled safely. I love bringing my wife and kids here every time I get the chance. Its refreshing to meet people who just want to cook good food for good people without robbing them blind on the prices. Love this place !!!

No one else has perfected bagels like Browns! Best bagels I have ever tried by far! We come all the way from Boston just to get their bagels and pizza bagels, not to mention the best breakfast and homemade soups!

I'm from New York and when I first moved here almost 20 years ago, I was heartbroken, sometimes driving upwards of a half hour for a taste of home. Now I just venture down the street! Prefer something on the sweeter side, like a scone? Everything is homemade - no factory fluff with mystery ingredients. They do lunch too, offering great homemade soups and salads, and, of course, coffee and tea all day. Don't miss this Seacoast gem.

They have the best bagels I love them! But also if you have a sweet tooth they have the best woopie pies. I gave one to everyone at my birthday party and it's amazing. So good

As a new yorker, I have very high standards when it comes to bagels. Browns bagels surpassed my new york bagel cravings. I now prefer to have have their English muffin bagel. A must try!

We are serious bagel appraisers. Retired from a suburb near New York, there was no equal to the legendary H&H Bagel. There is now. Brown's in the middle of lovely, little, gentrified Newmarket has done it. You can taste love and pride baked into these memorable winners. The family Brown has concentrated on flavor and fulfilling without having to be everyone else's gi-normous, beautiful, and bland. So glad they've reopened for phone or email order and curbside pickup. Huge variety and all kinds of other love-infused pastries and goodies. Try not to tell EVERYBODY! Don't want them selling out before my next order.

Brown’s Bagels is by far and away the best place to start your day in Newmarket - probably Rockingham County. Don’t sleep on this place. When you make it there, get whatever you went in for but definitely buy some bagels to go and grab a tub of their cream cheese creations too. Egg bagel + lox spread = a perfect start to a better day! My wife and I love this place and couldn’t imagine Newmarket without it!

Drove past Brown's in the morning for about a year before I had a chance to stop in, and I haven't dropped a pound since. I'm a self-proclaimed bagel and cream cheese connoisseur. Makes the last 20 minutes of my commute, that much more pleasant. I grab a few baked goods for the office staff every now and again (because, they should not just wave those amazing mini banana bread loaves in my face like that...). Thanks for fueling me through my mornings. Keep up the great work! P.S. one word....pumpernickel...

Awesome bagels! Wicked friendly staff. Fair prices come on in and try out a breakfast sandwich you will not be disappointed. Great addition to the downtown area.

What a great place to eat! Great food and exceptional service! The owners are always so nice and pleasant. The bagels are to die for! I would give this place 100 stars if I could!

I absolutely love this bagel shop. We literally drive all the way their just to get bagels and desserts. Owners are so friendly. I can't wait to go back!!!
