Dua Vino + The Bar

We grabbed a couple of drinks on the up-in-the air 3rd level Bar. Cozy. Great view..especially of a beautiful victorian house on the corner. Good service. I love all the extra eye candy this place has including giving us ladies a chandelier in the restroom. I like it when a restaurant goes above and beyond and provides more than food for it's clients like the beautiful wood tables with glitter imbedded in the surface epoxy coating. Food you can get anywhere and no doubt for less. It's got 'special occasion' or 'date night to impress' pricing written all over it. It's easy to miss the classy outside design if you're traveling down the busy street. We hit it up because a store owner around the corner told us it's a must stop kind of place and people in South Lyon were happy to see such a classy place.

Do not miss this experience in downtown South Lyon! The food and drinks are fabulous and the atmosphere, style and uniqueness are absolutely standout. This is a place to visit over and over again.

Great new restaurant that has opened up in the heart of South Lyon. The 3rd floor bar is very cozy and can be full but never overcrowded with the high ceilings and deliciously made drinks.

The food is very good for the most part but we haven’t toured the entire menu just yet. Great place to have some drinks and enjoy some food that has great experience and passions behind it.

No dress code here but dressing up a bit helps add to the atmosphere and character of this blossoming little gem. They are a great addition to the South Lyon and look forward to more visits in the future.

Cute find in South Lyon. Love the decor. Bar upstairs is great and dining room main floor was stylish. Nice variety on the menu and great wine and drink list. Nice to meet friends or for a special night. Great service. Everyone was friendly, fun and professional.

Me and my husband went there for dinner on my birthday on 3/28. Food was delicious for starters we had the calamari and for entree I had the lamb chops and my husband had the ribeye steak, for dessert I had the tiramisu. The wine list was great. Service was impeccable👌🏽. The young lady who served us was very friendly and kind( sorry I forgot your name). The owner, the manager and the chef gave me a birthday card, I thought that was very thoughtful and special and I appreciated it. The place is beautiful with a calm atmosphere, great for a date night or brunch with friends. After dinner we went upstairs to check out the bar and it was actually nice upstairs with a view. Anyway I appreciate your top notch service and we’ll definitely be back.

What a fantastic new addition to have in downtown South Lyon! Perfect for, family, or date night dining, lunch dates with your friends, evening drinks upstairs in "The Bar" or private parties! Owners did not spare any expense putting this place together! Incredible detail and atmosphere! They will push that expense over to you on the price tab but it’s well worth it! Cocktails and Arancini were great and then the main course also did not disappoint at all!

The food at Dua Vino is excellent! The three to dine here each had something different - fish, steak, and pasta. We all said we'd get our dish again. Our server was attentive but did not hover.
My only other comment is the tables are close together, which means you can't help but hear other people's conversations.

Dua Vino is a wonderful, special dining experience. Tonight was the third time we have been to this exceptional restaurant. In each case the food and service was outstanding. The menu has a marvelously diverse selection of Italian fare, and a dazzling wine list. Don't miss trying the bread and dipping oil as an appetizer; it's positively delicious. The dining room itself is cozy yet spacious, and the atmosphere of diners has an infectious, lively dynamic. The servers, too, are friendly, positive, and prompt. Our server Dan tonight revealed a bright, upbeat personality, and had just the right kind of attentiveness. Everything presented was carefully prepared and obviously borne of chefs with talent. If I could cite one consideration, I'd watch to be sure that the Caesar salad has more green leaves than white stems. But this is a minor blot on what otherwise is truly gourmet, first-class cuisine.

The whole place has a great, upscale feel to it that you don't really find in South Lyon. They used a number of the relics from the original building and create a great atmosphere in the restaurant and upstairs bar. Everything we had to eat was fantastic and the service was great - which says a lot for a newly opening restaurant.

The best dining experience we've had many years. Celebrated our 36th anniversary in this quaint place. The card recognizing our special date and signed by the owner, GM and head chef was an unexpectedly memorable touch. The food was simply excellent and the Gremaldi (Italian) wine as the perfect compliment to our dinner choices. To the entire team...thank you! We will be back. For everyone else...book a table and go enjoy a wonderful place to dine.

Amazing food and atmosphere!! I felt like I was in Italy. Upstairs has a nice pop vibe.🎶 Downstairs is sweet and quaint and super romantic! ❤ We had such a great time! We will return to both levels!!! Great addition to downtown South Lyon!!!!

We began the evening in the bar on the 3rd floor. It reminds me of Wright and Company, and thats a good thing. I had the Ribeye, age had the chicken marsala. Both dishes were excellent, and paired well with a 2019 Canvas back Duckhorn from WA state. Kate, our server, was excellent. She was there when we needed her, and not intrusive when we didn't. Tiramisu capped the meal, and was an excellent dish to share. The only negative might be the noise in the dining room, It approached levels that made conversation difficult at times.

What an amazing evening my girlfriends and I had at Dua Vino this weekend. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all so incredible. Our server Dan was amazing and so was the manager, Julia. I can't wait to return! The Baci Di Mamma is already calling my name. Make sure you order Mamma Drita's cheesecake, I guarantee it's the best cheesecake you will ever have. 10+ stars

Dua Vino has an amazing atmosphere with all the small touches you appreciate when going to a nice restaurant. Food was fresh and the mixed drinks were on point, they even had a special holiday drink menu 🎃 Arancini is a must try! So delicious!! I highly recommend, we will be going back again soon.

This a gem of a restaurant for the South Lyon community. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, our server for the evening (Jaclyn) put up with my humor and the food and drink was VERY good!

We’ll be back. I want to check out the upstairs bar!

We celebrated our anniversary over dinner at Dua Vino in South Lyon tonight. The vibe, Italian food, and service was absolutely amazing!!

Our server, Maddie, was outstanding! Professional, personable, and ultra attentive, Maddie knew the menu well which was huge in helping us with our selections.

This was our first visit and we are already looking forward to our next.

We had been hearing some good things recently about Dua Vino from local friends and decided to give it a try after a few months’ hiatus. The whole experience was amazing. Our server, Brian, was new. In fact, we were the first customers of his career as a server. He was attentive and made a great recommendation for my meal. The manager (didn’t catch her name) recommended an awesome Cabernet to go along with my meal. My wife had chicken scallopini and loved it. The arancini were almost the size of a baseball, crispy on the outside and creamy and delicious inside. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp and loaded with Parmesan cheese and a homemade Caesar dressing. Note to any of you hesitant to try a Caesar because of the fish paste in the dressing: it was there and so subtle that I’d encourage you to try anyway. My wife falls into that category and reported she enjoyed her taste. My entree, Paccheri con Crème di Ricotta is a rigatoni dish with
ricotta, Italian sausage, garlic, fresh spinach, parmesan, cracked pepper and roasted portabella. It was fantastic. We will be going back soon. This is a gem in our little town.

Dua Vino is a much needed addition to South Lyon. The ambiance is very cool and the food was even better. Kait was great waitress and very knowledgeable of the menu. 10/10 recommend.
