Kong Dog

We have wanted to try a Korean corn dog for a while now and this place did not disappoint for the most part. You get to pick a meat for the hot dog or mozzarella cheese and then the outside fried layering. We tried potato and ramen and they were both great. The plant based hot dog was a disappointment though. They also offer great combos such as 2 corn dogs + a drink and we ordered the blueberry slurpy which was very good.

This is a new place that I noticed! I saw TikTok’s on everyone loving Korean corn dogs! They loved it! I tried the sweet chili Kong Dog and its the best! This definitely wont be my last Kong Dog!

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the newly opened KongDog at Newport Centre and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. It is such a fun addition to the options here and a fantastic place to grab a quick meal, whether you're dining alone or with friends and family.
Now, let's talk about the food. I was genuinely impressed with the quality and variety of dishes on the menu. It's made to order and you can taste the freshness in every bite. It's evident that they take pride in serving top-notch food. Service was prompt and friendly, despite the busy environment. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and genuinely seemed to care about the customer experience. I had my 6 year old nephew with me and the staff was so patient and kind to us. He chose the whole mozzarella cheese filling and just look at that cheese pull! Prices are reasonable, considering the quality of food you get and the value for your money is undeniable. Plus, who doesn't love meat and cheese on a stick covered in carbs and deep fried? I'll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu, like their fried chicken and dumplings.

The Original Kong Dog was delicious. The beef was juicy and the crust was think. Had it with a side of spicy Mayo.

Saw this place and was curious. Ordered a regular half dog/half cheese, fries, & pink lemonade it was delicious! All the items I ordered were made perfectly with the right amount of cheese inside. Crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The staff was extremely attentive and kind as well. This is the customer service you need at a restaurant. Will definitely come back again!

I myself would never order something called "rainbow corn dog", but hey if your kiddo wants it, why not? Turns out to be such a treat for both!! The staff was super friendly. Would definitely come back for other flavors!

This was my first time trying a kongdog and it was the original kongdog and it was a sweet and the stretch of mozzarella was amazing.

Update:
Today, (2 months after my initial review), I go tried again. Now the corn dogs are on point. Much better than when the store was first opened. Highly recommend now.

Highly anticipated, very disappointed.

if you think this is as good as Jongro Rice Hotdog in Ktown, then you will be disappointed. Food does not taste good. Thick batter, thin sausage, very oily, and lacking in flavor.

Service was good though.

This place is fantastic! Delicious food and great service. Awesome to have them at Newport mall accesible to many. It’s the perfect snack or lunch while at work or when you are shopping.

My visit to Kong Dog Korean Hot Dog spot was truly enjoyable. The food was excellent, and the service was incredibly prompt. I was delighted by the flavors and look forward to coming back for more.

Haven’t been to the mall in some time and was delighted to see a Kong Dog! I ordered the potato Kong dog and it definitely hit the spot. Perfect, all around goodness.

I had my first Korean hot dog at Kong Dog and it won’t be my last! The staff was super helpful with menu recommendations. Definitely check it out!

there cheese corn dogs are amazing i go here everytime i have the chance to , and the manager (i’m assuming he always takes my order when i’m here) he’s so nice always ask if i want my sauce on the side and he’s always running back into the kitchen to see if the food is ready haven’t been disappointed and i hope they never shut down you have to come here
