I have had a PO Box here for 32 years. No pretty much most of the Post men and women that work there. Always very friendly and very helpful. I trust them more than the people that would actually delivered to my house, lol hence why I kept my PO box. Things are more apt to get delivered correctly.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They helped me decide the best way to ship my packages. It can get busy at times, but they keep the line moving and always have kind words and smiles for the customers.

The social distancing thing did t happen well, but that wasn't the post office fault. They have lines clearly marked, but people in the city have the problem of following directions.
I got dino stamps. They are amazing. Cashier was nice.

It’s annoyingly when the drop off box time says 5:30pm but it’s constantly being collected before that time

I stopped by this location on Meredyth today (12-22-21) to ship a return package. I had my Q- code for the prepaid shipping label ready to be scanned into the system; however, I was sadly informed it couldn't be done. The African American older gentleman suggested I go to Staples or Office Depot to get a copy of my shipping label. He was friendly and tried to make me laugh because I was frustrated by the situation because the company I was returning to had clearly stated it shouldn't be an issue for the USPS to scan my barcode, since I didn't have a working printer at home. I inquired what time they closed before I left to ensured I'd make it back. He informed me 5pm and it was 4:35pm at the time.
I took the postal worker's advice and went to Office Depot. They had customers, but the the associate said he could gladly accommodate me. I ran into someone I knew at Office Depot and hadn't noticed them because of my tunnel vision. I was trying to get in and out, which I explained how I had to get back to the post office with this label before 5pm. I left office depot with my shipping label in hand with 12 minutes to spare before 5. Traffic was heavy, but it wasn't that far. My return arrival was 4:54pm and I reached the door at 4:55pm and the door was locked. There were people still inside getting processed and I knocked on the door and one of the customers told them they had one more customer. One of the older women inside working stated they were CLOSED. I said it wasn't 5pm yet, so how could they be CLOSED already. The exit door opened and I asked one of the postal workers why I wasn't allowed to come in when it wasn't 5 o'clock yet and she replied, "to close that door because they were close." I stood in the doorway for 4 minutes waiting and hoping one of them would allow me entry because it wasn't 5 yet. Of course, they didnot, so I requested the name of a supervisor and phone number and they wouldn't answer me. I eventually left upset because that wasn't GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE NOR PROPER POLICY AND PROCEDURE.
If a business states there closing time is 5pm, then you shouldn't close 5 or 6 mins before the exact time stated. I would have understood if I arrived after 5pm, then that would have been on me, but I arrived before and was denied service. My respect for my elders was quite difficult because those two older African American women were being both MEAN and NASTY. I work customer service and I understand about being tired and exhausted and ready to go home, but we aren't allowed to close or lock the doors a minute before time. At my job we've had people arrive 2 or 3 minutes before closing and we still had to be nice. They're both old enough to know better and treat people with both professionalism and kindness during business hours. Actually, they knew I'd just been inside the post office and trying to get a package shipped out and had inquired about hours of operation. This is suppose to be the season of giving and yuletide spirit...I guess that's an untruth.
The nice gentleman that had assisted me prior was already gone for the day and the little old ladies were being Scrooges. Whomever the supervisor is please reprimand your staff about appropriate policy and procedures and abiding by all the rules and regulations. I was upset with myself when I got back to my vehicle because I let them get the best of me and I burst into tears from frustration. I work in retail and my hours are crazy during the holidays and I needed my package taken care of ASAP. I'm not off until Christmas day and everything is CLOSED. This location use to have a friendly staff of people and I enjoyed coming to this location, but now it seems there's retirement aged people still having to work and not happy about their current situations, so the customer service is SUFFERING.

I went into this post office today 06/16/22 at around 3:30 pm because I had to mail out a vial of cremated ashes to have something made for my mother that just lost her husband. I had stickers stating there were ashes in the package and when it was my turn I asked JANICE where I should put them. She put her hands in the air as if I was handing her something vile then said “go to the next cashier”, I said again, I’m just asking where to put these stickers on a package that was already sealed. She said “I said go to the next person” this was appalling behavior in an already very delicate situation. How dare you Janice make this already hard time even harder with your disgusting behavior. I hope nobody makes you go through that kind of disrespectful encounter if you lose someone close to you, shame on you!

Worst location. Customer service means treat every customer equally without discrimination but here all the staff which is black, they treat every white person way to humbly with unnecessarily smile but when a person like me who has different skin color approaches to the counter, the same staff flips like a coin and treats with clear discrimination. Moreover the chains which supposedly have the ink pens for customers has no pens and no stapler there. When you ask the staff they gives you pen with heavy heart. You can see their expressions clearly that they don’t wana help you because you have different color. Pathetic mindset
