Affordable and pretty good food. I thought this was locally owned until I looked at their website. They are a chain. If that's not your thing, be aware.

The sauce that comes with the thin fries is just amazing!

Typically not a food I'd be interested in trying but the pics of the waffle fries brought me in. Ordered a GF Bowl and a side of fries. Both were insanely good. Super glad I stepped out and tried something different tonight. Prices and portions were fare. Arrived after 6pm and service was super quick. Only downside was the parking. Had to park a few blocks away but no biggie.

This food is absolutely exceptional! So much bang for your buck and reliably delicious every single time.

Interior design is eclectic, with dim-lighting at night. Service is FAST. Order at the counter! Food is BOMB. Fresh veggies, reasonably priced, and everything was STUFFED so I felt like we got our money's worth. Gyro meat wasn't dry! Falafels were tasty and moist! Deep fried pita bread transports you. Recommend!

This is my new favorite spot in Portland - all the food is fresh and flavorful, and there's excellent options whether you like meaty, hearty meals or something lighter. Both times that I've been everyone had a smile on their face, plenty of people, but not packed. Spitz is an absolute gem in my opinion.

This was our first time getting food from Spitz, and it was absolutely amazing, we usually do fast food fridays but decided to get ourselves something different and were more than excited.
Food was super well packaged, which is always a nice kind of service, and the ambiance of the restaurant was amazing; I wish we had eaten there because it was so cozy inside but alas. We're definitely eating here again.

I visited this place with my friends on our way back from Cloverdale and I loved it!!
The ambience and vibe was lovely and welcoming.
Plenty of vegetarian options, huge servings and amazing taste and service! We ordered doner salad and medi bowl, loaded fries, extra pita and some drinks. Everything was great!!
Definitely marking this on our favorites list for the next time we visit Portland!

Had been wanting to try this place for quite some time since they just opened within the past year or so.

Might've found a new favorite spot! Was very impressed. We did a order for take out and are already planning when we can go back and dine in.

They've got a great outdoor patio with heat lamps. Their dining and bar area is super cool. Didn't get drinks this go around, but there cocktails look really good.

The menu has a bit of everything on it for you and leaves you wanting one of everything ;)

We decided on doquitos to start. Such a bold flavorful dish! Great sauce and fresh ingredients that top the doquitos. For entrées we had the Street Car Doner and the Berliner Bowl. Each was jam packed with various flavors and kept you coming back for more. Portions were great! Ended our Spitz journey with baklava - yum.

We will certainly be going back to try more! Recommended for good new eats!

This was our first stop when we arrived in Portland. The reviews were great and the pics of the food looked really good online and let me tell you ..... the food is 10/10 delicious. It's not really a sit down / full service restaurant kind of experience, and we were totally cool with that. We ordered at the bar, paid, and then our food got dropped off really quickly after that, and that was it.

What a gem we found this place has so many options it was hard to choose something n when we did o boy the food was miNd blowing with flavors

Great restaurant tucked away amongst houses. Happy Hour has discounted drinks and a few appetizers. Affordable and very tasty. Don't expect Döner like you'll receive in Germany but has its own unique style. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful outdoor space to enjoy your meal. They have an excellent drink selection, and the food portions are large. I had the lamb and beef gyro, DELICIOUS. I'll be back to try more!

Favorite place for quick Mediterranean in Portland! The food is always so fresh and bursting with flavor. I went in to sit one night and their cocktails are sooooo good. Can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. You definitely want to try the pita strips!

The food was really good. And seems reasonably priced. But playing on their phone behind the counter was a higher priority than taking my order. Placing my order felt like I was interrupting his personal life as his body language suggested annoyance. Atmosphere was good, but music was a little loud.

Food overrides all else in my reviews unless a rat runs across the table. So I give an overall five star.

This place just hits all the marks. Ambience, food and service!
We got the street gyro combo and the spicy chicken flatbread. Both were amazing! Fries were so crispy. Decor and ambience is very cool. Service was friendly and quick.

Loved this place. Food tasted great and I loved the twist on the Mediterranean food. I asked for my falafel wrap with no onion but it had onion, however they were so quick to change it for me. Service was awesome and fast and great staff. Definitely will be back.

Tens across the board! 5 stars doesn't do this place justice! I have searched 13 years for authentic Turkish döner sandwiches (not a schawarma wrap) & I couldn't find anything close to the German Döners that I'd come to love.

All the google review pictures showed wraps, so I was doubtful, but the gentleman at the bar assured me they do the wraps AND sandwich style Döners. What a relief!

We ordered the "Street Cart Döner" with fries (or pommes). They did not disappoint. The food was deliciously on point. The chef Chris came out & explained where other Spitz locations were in Southern California (where I'm from).

The Döners, tzatziki sauce & garlic aoli here is to die for. The staff is beyond friendly, sociable & awesome. Mood music is awesome, the decor is very aesthetically pleasing. There's outdoor seating as well.

I highly recommend Spitz. & I'll definitely be returning.

I found this place during the couple months I was working in the neighborhood. I had weird hours, and would often grab food between 8 and 10 at night. I can vouch for the Medi Wrap(with chicken), Greek Salad(comes w/ crispy garbanzos and feta), and on occasion, the Chicken Wings. Excellent. Heads up, this place doesn't take cash.

I've been there a few times now, and the food never disappoints. The staff has always been friendly and efficient, and I like that the outdoor seating is dog friendly. Plus, they have the best Sangria that I've ever had!
