Sheesh Shawarma

I’ve been eating here just about 3-7 times a month for 5 months now, and every time the food gets better. The menu is incredibly well crafted and every time the food tastes just as good if not more so than before. Not only is the food amazing, the staff has the best customer service skills I’ve ever encountered from an eatery. Simply put, this might very well be the best place to eat in Portland.

Side note, the quantity of food you get with their combo meals is unbeatable, and it absolutely doesn’t lack in quality either.

They catered my event and I was absolutely blown away by the exceptional service and delicious food by Sheesh Shawarma! They truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and the food was hands down some of the best I've had in a while. I'll definitely be returning for more, and I can't wait to spread the word to all my friends. Highly recommend!

This amazing food carts on the PSU campus is by far one of the best around in my opinion, especially for the price. They have a simple menu that I have yet to find anything I didn't enjoy on it. To top it off, the staff working are so friendly and deserving of running a successful food truck. If your looking for a lunch on or near campus or a late night snack after going out with your friends, this is the spot to check out.

Brand new food cart at the PSU food cart pod. Great customer service and convenient location! This cart is open until 10pm most nights (6pm on Sundays) and is the only cart open late in this pod. The sheesh sauce is fantastic and I highly recommend the sheesh chicken sandwich and the sheesh fries! One of the best shawarma places I have eaten at recently.

Love this place. I eat here like 2-3x a week since I live nearby. The Sheesh Chicken Combo (comes w/ fries and a drink) is my go-to. Great spice blend. The sauce is fantastic (they drizzle it on your fries too). Comes with pickle slices, tomatoes, onions on the side too which I mix up with my fries which makes a great little concoction. The hours are crazy too, as I think they're open until 11 or midnight 6 days a week which is super convenient. Everyone that works there is super nice and helpful as well. My parents were in town a few weeks ago and they're notoriously picky, uncultured eaters. The gentleman took the time to walk through what comes in it, what he can substitute, gave some samples to let them try before they buy, it was all just really nice and you can tell they care about their role in the community.

I'm tellin ya, give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Great food. Great service. One of my favorite carts in Portland and so happy they are opening a cart in Beaverton where I live.

Contacted the owner for a catering event at OHSU. We ended getting their “karak” chai (tea). We got enough for 100 people. The tea was gone within the first 10 minutes of the event, we absolutely loved it and will definitely cater again with “sheesh shawarma” for not only their tea but their food as well. Everything was delivered on time for our event, the tea was hot, and customer service was top notch. Highly recommend!

I love Sheesh, their chicken shawarma always hits and is worth every dollar. Their combo is such a deal too. They’re right on PSU campus so I go nearly every week and have never been disappointed. Also, the guys there are super friendly!

Incredible food from fantastic folks, first time here and I was just in time to score some freshly made hummus. Honestly just an absolutely fantastic example of that delicious garbanzo paste. Looking forward to many return visits, great food for a great price from lovely people!

We recently had an event at OHSU School of Dentistry featuring the tea from Sheesh Shawarma. It was the most delicious tea and everyone was raving about it. Will definitely be going back for the food and tea.

Sheesh Shawarma is hands-down the best shawarma food cart I have been to in Portland. Their meats are seasoned with authentic spices, their drink selection is top-notch, and their hummus is miles ahead of the hummus made at other food carts in the area. Their prices are also better than their competitors. I highly suggest getting the Sheesh Beef Combo, with the Shani drink. To top it off, they are student run and have excellent customer service.

As a Lebanese living in Portland it has always been difficult to find a quality shawarma spot that does it right. Sheesh shawarma checks all the boxes, its authentic, well-priced, and convenient! It can be very difficult to make a shawarma with the right amount of each ingredient, Sheesh does it perfectly. Definitely recommend!

First time pulling up here and got treated like family. If y’all want a place to eat and chill. Go here. Coming here again fosho

Pro Tip: Ask for it to be spicy, it’s not that spicy but adds a lot of flavor.

I have to go here at least once a week after work. Best shawarma in town! Highly recommend the chicken shawarma but you cannot go wrong with the beef as well. High quality food here.
