Mike was amazing! I had a professional club fitting two years ago in Sea Island with high expectations and left feeling even more lost than before and ultimately never got a new set of clubs as a result. Eager to give it another go, Mike exceeded all of my expectations of how a club fitting should go. He was patient, communicative and provided great feedback both on my swing and on the performance with each tested club. He built confidence in my decision by going over the numbers and explaining the details of why he fitted me at a specific club/shaft. Lastly, I am a very hesitant buyer and Mike went over and beyond to answer all of my questions/concerns. Ended up getting the full set, which is not like me to dive in like that, but Mike's approach and process left me feeling confident. 100% recommend Mike if you are in the area. I'll be sending another review in a few months with an update on my improvement. Can't wait!

I’ve bought clubs from Mike for years. He’s a very talented club fitter with a deep understanding of golf and how to get the most out of your equipment.

He’s always been incredibly attentive and responsive. Now that he’s on his own and controls all aspects of the process, the customer service couldn’t be better. And the clubs come to you exactly as you expected and wanted with him building them personally.

On top of that, he’s a really good person. He takes his business personally and builds relationships with his customers. His focus is to make his customers happy, not how to squeeze the most out of them.

Mike was awesome! Totally unbiased and extremely knowledgable. He explained critical information throughout the fitting that I did not know. Tried plenty of different combinations until we found the perfect tool. As a low index this fitting was better than any other I have ever had. Highly recommend seeing him and getting your bag dialed in. Will be back to him next time I am in need of an upgrade or close a gap in my bag.

Great experience, Mike did a great job fitting and catering to my requests. He eventually put me into some P790s with Fujikura Pros and they feel great. After getting the irons I won two junior golf tournaments and my handicap dropped several strokes. Definitely hit him up for a fitting.

My son had a great fitting experience with Mike's Honest Golf. I have been to a lot of fitters over the years and I agree with many of the other reviewers - Mike is the best. He made my son feel very comfortable and was very patient with all of our questions. Mike has a ton of expertise along with a bunch of stuff to test out. Another thing that differentiates Mike is that he builds the stuff himself so you know its being built right to the specs that he prescribed during the fitting (it also helps with turnaround time!). Mike was a pleasure to spend time with and my son left feeling very confident in his new set of clubs.

For 18 months Mike has been helping me manage my equipment to fit my swing. He has been pleasant, personable, professional, and proficient. His analysis married technology with intuition which gave me great confidence that my choices were best for me. He gave me all the information necessary so that I could purchase equipment anywhere. After consulting with my son, a former professional golfer, I decided to purchase from Mike. While the equipment performed as expected, there have been a couple of tweaks needed over time. Mike was responsive each time, quickly diagnosing the issue and correcting. Mike is not the lowest cost provider but he is very high on the value delivered making the purchase price well worth every dollar. An unintended, unexpected benefit was my first two hole in ones within 6 months of purchase after 54 years of trying. Coincidence? Maybe... or maybe not.
