A must visit for a delicious meal! Farm to Table, local produce, menu changes seasonally
So, our visit was by chance. Passed it heading to our overnight stay. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Just missed the dinner rush, which allowed us to have an awesome table on the back deck overlooking Seneca Lake. Fortunately this was just before sunset.
Huge beverage options, all local breweries and wineries. Menu was somewhat limited but had chicken, fish, meat, sandwiches, salad. Something for everybody.
I had the chicken grilled cheese with a wedge salad to start and my wife had the haddock which could not have been any fresher.
Be sure to ask for Meahgen. Fantastic server, knew the menu from front to back, and super personable.
This is a venue, we will definitely hit on our next visit to the Finger Lakes. You won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and everything was amazing! He had the Chicken French Grilled Cheese and said it was great. My Farmhouse salad with tofu was very fresh and delicious. The waitress gave us recommendations for wine and desert, which we both loved. And to top it off, the view is incredible! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful meal! We had Meahgen and Jonathan as servers, and they were a lot of fun. They recommended the sea bass for my wife and the ribeye for me. They were both cooked to perfection and delicious. The view from the balcony is amazing. We had a great time and a great meal. I heartily recommend this place if you're in the area.

If I could give more than 5 stars for service I absolutely would! Everything was beyond amazing. It was a very special celebration for my significant other and I. Meegan went above and beyond to make this a night I will never forget. Thank you so much!!!!

As out of towners, not only was the food incredible, you couldn’t ask for a cooler environment! It’s breathtaking to sit on the deck. We also had the coolest drink specials! We are planning to make this an annual trip!

My aunts and I have been coming up to Vineyard Villas for a couple of years now, and imagine our surprise to find a restaurant literally right next door!!

I stopped by this evening after we had cooked dinner, and was floored by the excellent selection of house-made desserts! I grabbed three items to bring back home: the NY Cheesecake, a Chocolate Merlot Cake, and Strawberry Creme Puffs. The Cheesecake was amazingly light and delicate, and the other two desserts were top-notch.

What floored me was the level of service: everyone on staff made a point of having a conversation with me about how proud and excited there were about this new establishment: I could even hear one of the wait staff earlier in the evening gushing about how new, and exciting, the location is, and judging by the sincerity and friendliness of the team here, I can only say, one would not be disappointed with a visit!

Everything about the Vineyard Villas location has been wonderful - to have a high quality restaurant on site is a huge boon! Conveniently located to the wineries and breweries on 414, one absolutely MUST come check this place out!

I had the filet which was amazing my husband had meatloaf which was comfort food on a cold night and he loved it. Will definitely visit again.

We enjoyed a great dinner while staying at Vineyard Villas. We had meatloaf, chicken and dumplings and filet mignon all of which were excellent! Highly recommended this wonderful family owned restaurant and the surrounding sights.

Incredible views. Friendly staff. Farm to table menus that are sumptuous and highlight the best of the region. LOCALLY made wine spirits, soda and beers. If you're in the area give it a try! Reservations are recommended for Saturday nights.

Absolutely stunning. Had dinner here on our last day for vacation, and would absolutely come back and recommend to everyone! Food was amazing between the sea bass spin wheel, and the chicken milanese. The drinks were freshly made with fresh and local ingredients from local distilleries and breweries! Next time we’re up on the finger lakes, we’ll be back! Must try!

So...we have been here two times is two days. First day was driving by and saw they were open. Greeted by friendly owners and staff. We had a drink and purchased awesome desserts. Day two we had lunch.....again friendly staff, quick service and very delicious lunch. Our price noted includes drinks. Next visit will be dinner. Looking forward to it.

Hector Hideaway has certainly stepped up their game since the last time I was there. Food was great (was great the last time too), service was excellent and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed. Great place to have some dinner and enjoy the views of Seneca Lake.
If you're visiting or live here, swing by, you will not be disappointed.

Love this place so much. I made my husband eat there 3 times during our 4 day stay just so I could get the French Chicken Grilled Cheese. It was amazing!!! You can’t beat the views or the food. Be sure to check out the selection of jewelry pieces from local artists on the 1st floor. We were even able to pick up some souvenirs for our kids while having an amazing dinner. Would highly recommend.

Delicious food and craft cocktails! Gorgeous view. The staff and owners are so genuine. A favorite for tourists and locals.

I'm giving a five star review to hopefully bump up the rating. This place is way better and nicer than the 1 star reviews left on opening weekend. They opened recently, so of course there will be bumps. That doesn't warrant a 1 star review. This place is great, don't hesitate to stop by.

We had a lovely date night at Hector Hideaway! The views were breathtaking with the lake and vineyards in the forefront. Our Seabass was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Can’t wait to go back!

Great Food - one of the best burgers Ive ever had. The sides were awesome too. Beautiful view overlooking lake Seneca!

Great place with an amazing view of the lake. Two suggestions a wider menu offering more options and more draft beer selections. Will definitely go back.
