Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

9.5 out of 10 great price point for serving size. Down home ambiance! Delicious cold drink selections and a grande TEXAN welcome! Only critique is the meat temp could’ve been a bit warmer. The flavor and tenderness was so juicy I didn’t mind my brisket luke warm. I can’t believe we haven’t come sooner. We will be back!

Came for a baked potato with all the fixings and I have to say. This is a delicious bbq spot and is a staple for Texas BBQ!

Also Ann… of course you thought their breakfast burritos were small. Sweetie… they are tacos for $3, so I hope you’re comparing four tacos to one normal burrito. Y’all should have ordered 100 tacos for a group of $19.

All the other reviews are good and bad but serious… this is a great spot for lunch or dinner and they aren’t here to provide therapy or every soda flavor you drink in your dreams.

Super friendly Texas vibe! Incredible food. I had the most brisket, green Chile stew, and a drink. Carved to order, (a half pound), sooo good. Pickles, onions, jalapeños, either cherry peppers or habaneros. They have sissy sauce for the lightweights, lol, and regular and hot sauce to boot. Would definitely eat here again!

This is a perfect place for a quick stop to eat something heavy. We had 18hrs drive and decided to stop here coz the review was very good so we tried it. The St. Louis Ribs was very tender and juicy. Just so perfect for a quick heavy meal. Also tried the smoked sausage and it was really good.
I also love the set up of the place. Its like country style. Their oven is just behind the counter which you can peek and see how they cook their ribs which I find it amazing
They also have gas station so you can also do a pit stop here and eat. I've heard they have multiple locations all over the state so would definitely comeback.

Over the past few years my family have only done the drive thru, which is why the atmosphere is only 4 stars. But the food always hit the spot I just wish it was a little cheaper so I could get more for my money, however that will not stop me from going back time and time again. Rudy's is one of my families top 5 BBQ spots. I was sooo happy many years ago when they finally moved north from Austin.

I’ve passed by this place like 3 times tonight I finally stopped by I honestly didn’t know what to expect but I was far from disappointed. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and shown around after I told them I was a first timer. And I was given a few menu suggestions. I went with the baked potato with sausage and brisket. It was sooooo good. And that potato didn’t lack any flavor it was so buttery in the middle and the skin even tasted good. I will most definitely be coming back. Good food and wonderful service.

Love this place! The BBQ here is really good, and that's saying a lot as I'm a bit of a BBQ snob. Most other local BBQ restaurants are half again more expensive for food that's not as goof as Rudy's, so it's also a bargain!

The staff here are always friendly and courteous, which makes the atmosphere great.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I came from Alaska in the mood for some good old TX BBQ stopped in at Rudy's and it sure did hit the spot. I want to thank the staff there. I came in and got a huge order and everyone was so kind and helpful in getting my order together. You guys are the best! If anyone is ever in the Allen area I totally recommend stopping in and getting some of the best tasting BBQ I've ever had. It was finger licken good. I am definitely stopping in again before I go back to Alaska.

Wow!!! I cannot recall the last time I've been to a place where the food, atmosphere, music, vibe and overall ambiance, and friendly service and experience was totally complete and amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. Moist brisket, beans, potato salad, sweet corn, peach cobbler, and both BBQ sauces were all super good! So rare to find a place where everything was amazing. Very impressed and I'm a total foodie. Prices were a bit steep on the beef but hard to complain when you taste it. Wish they had one in So Cal. I will surely add Rudy's on my stop during my future ventures through Texas!

Came in for lunch, it was slow at the time. Service and atmosphere was good. Only slight complaint was the potato was overcooked therefore the skin was tough & I didnt eat it. Not gonna knock it for that though as the meats, sides, and dessert made up for it. I don't come to Rudys often, but they do bbq well.

I love this place never fails to have a great experience the food is amazing and the price to eat here is fair.... the service is awesome, and when you walk in, they automatically greet you with a smile. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

Really good brisket and atmosphere inside the store. This was the first time going to this location in Allen. The brisket had a really good smoked flavor to it and they had a good selection of sides. I like the large reusable cups they have too! Their prices were a bit high/above average compared to similar places, but it was really good overall. I will be back.

Excellent breakfast tacos! I bring my clients breakfast several times a week (different clients), and I order their breakfast tacos because they have been able to accommodate early pickups 6-6:45 am. Now they've changed their hours to open later and now are changing $50 to pick up at 6:30 and $100 to pickup 6am-6:30am. So I won't be ordering from them anymore for business.

Great breakfast tacos. All tacos are just over $2 @ $2.19. Brisket, Egg and Cheese is great and not saucy. Jalapeno Sausage, Egg and Cheese is a bit spicy but very flavorful. Rudy's Chop is a more saucy Chopped beef. Overall, nice quick stop for breakfast.

Always a sold choice if you're in the area and are wanting good BBQ! Everytime I come here it's always the same, perfect! The bark on the brisket was perfect! Can't get enough! If you're in the area make sure you swing by! Oh yea! Don't forget the have breakfast tacos in the AM! Get the bacon egg and cheese one!

I really love Rudy's BBQ. I try to limit the amount of times I go, because I always over eat. The food is that good. (smile) Everyone is so friendly, you almost feel like you walked into that old TV show. The Andy Griffin Show:) Yesterday I stopped and picked up breakfast for the office. Everyone loved it. I ordered 20 breakfast taco's for a staff of 4. They were all gone by 11am. Great place. Two thumbs up!

It’s our first time to come here but the servers and people who work here are friendly!!! The ambiance and place is cool.

All I can say is it’s really delicious 🥰☺ We will come back for more!!! You must try! Your money is not wasted
