The Patio Restaurant

The food was great! It really hit the spot, and exceeded our expectations. The service was fast, and the food was hot. Our server was friendly, very attentive, and was there whenever we needed him. The double patio burger was excellent. My Daughter loved her spaghetti, My Wife enjoyed her grilled chicken, and my youngest ate all of her grilled cheese. What a cool little restaurant, in a cool little town. We will make it a point to come back

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack... You name it you will find it here and i almost guarantee you will wind up here :) Breakfast pics are attached but i got way to excited and ate the homemade donuts before i could snap a pic of them... Yummy. I would say this place has the largest selection of food available in lakeside. The also have milkshakes, ice cream, and my fav hot fudge sundays!! There was one day we stopped here 3 diff times for three diff meals :)
Ill side note this with the family that has owned the place for the last 30 years has done a amazing job, there is at least two generations working there and they are some of the friendliest most helpful people you could meet.

I have been eating at The Patio Restaurant for longer than I can remember. The food has always been very good, along with the service. The donuts are terrific, and my favorite meals are the chicken and the meatloaf.

This restaurant was very nice, and well positioned. Their burger came with coleslaw and a lot of fries. In the morning, they have delicious hot donuts of 6 varieties. Having their donuts are a great, cheap way to start the day. They are very close to the Lakeside pier, so you can order takeout, then walk 2 minutes down to the pier and eat there.

The patio has always been my go to place in all of Lakeside for the great variety of food, excellent dessert, and great service! They are very famous for their donuts, and make them fresh every day they are open!

My family has worked here for about two generations.I myself have been coming here my entire life. Me and my family know the owner and the owner’s son and they are very wonderful people. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a good place to eat.

Top tier donuts, better get there early though! Always the first place we eat when we head up to Lakeside. Part of the quintessential experience if you ask me.

If you have not experienced the donuts that the patio offers I highly reccomend you make the trip. There food is also pretty good. But those donuts though! Best in Ohio and in PA. And for a decent price. I just ordered 4 dozen this morning and have no regrets. The people are also very friendly and they have a nice selection of items to choose from.

The Patio is a great place to eat. The menu has a great variety, the service is fast, and the staff is so very friendly! I highly recommend!

The donuts are delicious. Super fresh and still warm. Reasonably priced as well.

Have not been in a while, and this week, it did not disappoint. I was worried that I had built the donuts up too much in my mind, but they are better than I remember. The best donuts. Soft and fluffy inside, and crispy outside. Get a dozen, and thank me later.

Loved this place! Great food! Reasonably priced. Good portions. Good service. It's located in a gated community so you have to park outside of it and walk down a bit to get to it. Beautiful walk though. You can walk along the lake. Nice at sunset.

Great home style experience. Wait staff is attentive and always rushing to fulfill orders. It's clear management works very hard to make things go smoothly.

My family spent last week at Lakeside. For 70 years my family has visited Lakeside and The Patio was once again nothing short of amazing. THE BEST DONUTS EVER! Last year my nephew was married at Lakeside and instead of wedding cake guess what we had? Yep. Patio Donuts. We can't wait until next year to return!

College kids working for the summer there. Family style food, fresh donuts in the morning, restrooms, portable potties outside too, ice cream, fans to cool you off outside, a decent atmosphere. A window to order from outside. Dine in or carry out. Slightly expensive for what you get, but probably the best place to eat in Lakeside, in my opinion.

The ice cream comes in a heathly serving. The doughnuts are even better if you sing the song in your head while you take a bite. The staff are super nice and helpful. A great place to make memories!

We stopped for donuts and they were amazing. Also service was great and staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend!!!!

Great restaurant at Lakeside. You can either sit inside or on their own air patio. They have a great selection of platters and a great variety of very tasty ice cream. Very friendly staff and an enjoyable time. 😃

I’ve been coming here for many, many years whenever my family vacations here. And this is one of the things I look forward to about being in Lakeside. Their donuts are the best. Try their donuts!

We take our family here every time we are in Ohio. Lakeside overall is very nice and I would reccomend going to anyone. The patio offers amazing ice cream and a wonderful staff.
