JJ's Table and Bar - Lakeside Marblehead

What a lovely experience. We sat in the covered patio. Our server was perfect. He came when he had to do business and left us to be in between yet so knowledgeable. Our food was delicious. Beautiful presentation, the prices were reasonable for what we were served and the cheesecake was to die for. Highly recommend!

This has to be one the best restaurants around the area when it comes to making you happy. The drinks ar craft cocktails. The food is fresh and home made. They don't rip you off when it comes to prices everything is reasonable. I love that they have a chef feature on Friday and Saturday. This is a nice spot to take a date. This place has to also have one of the biggest bourbon selections in the Midwest Ohio area!

Wonderful atmosphere and great staff. Food was delicious, especially the street corn. I absolutely loved it. Easy access to get to the restaurant. Very Clean environment inside and out. Indoor and outdoor seating made it convenient to enjoy the nice weather.

Excellent food and service. First, they have an amazing selection of drinks (bar). We ordered the shrimp cocktail and pork belly as appetizers. Some of the biggest shrimp with a beautiful presentation and very fresh. The pork belly was as beautiful as it was tasty. I had the grilled romaine with chicken and my husband had the skirt steak. Both sides of these dishes were fresh, delicious, and beautiful. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s clean, great service, and great food. Can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Great food selection and consistency. You can grab a nice dinner or a hamburger for those picky ones in the family. Everything has a unique flavor that you don't get elsewhere. Bartenders are well trained and can make great crafted drinks from old fashioneds, to a perfect margarita or a classic bees Knees. If you are looking for bourbon tasting this is the place to go. Don't pass up the shrimp cocktail! I personally enjoy the walley cake appetizer as well as the jumbo shrimp cocktail, monkfish special and the shrimp tacos.

Sat at the bar…Bartenders are very professional & personable. Hidden Gem & a great change-of-pace from Catawba/PC restaurants that are a little too uptight. Perfect example of mastering a menu instead of making a huge menu.

Very tasty food. Great service. Husband had ribeye; I had scallops. We shared salmon patty appetizer and cheesecake dessert. A little pricey, but you really do get what you pay for here. We would eat here again if we were back in the area.

Recommend the walleye filet. It is HUGE. Picture doesn’t do it justice. Great bourbon (and other liquors) selection.
Appreciate the push for local suppliers.

You do not get a better dining experience than JJs we are never disappointed and return often!

Stopped at JJs last night (late) for a special I saw posted on their Facebook. As a bartender we tend to get stuck eating cold dinners or fast food that's open on the way home ..with JJs staying open later this season its been very nice to have that as an option. As always last night my food was awesome and the bartender and server that were there were also both very friendly and took care of me right away. Love LOVE JJs!!!!

Thumbs up on this place!! Jack gave exceptional service and the food was great! Drinks were 5 star quality. Try and go early because at dinner hour they book up fast.

JJs is an Ohio treasure and was a random find on our mini honeymoon to the Marblehead/Port Clinton/Put-in-Bay area.

As i get older the more i see and appreciate attention to details.

The complementary chips and salsa are amazing compared to any thing i had. Not your bulk bought slop most if not all other places i have been to use.

The drinks are crafted with a lot of care for the taste, presentation and functionality. I have never been to a place that makes drinks this good from infusing smoke into the drinks,drip pouring with a filter and finely ground coffee, to the decorative flowers and use of spherical ice to keep a drink from getting watered down. My favorite drinks to date.
And best bang for the buck. A few dollars more than other places that just slop it together with next to no presentation.

I order the crusted walleye and substituted the side with brussel sprouts. The best I had with great presentation. The walleye was nice size fillet season perfectly to my taste, tender and flaked apart perfectly. The sprouts where just as good with perfect carmelazation and flavor.

The dessert was also awesome.
A huge piece of carrot cake. I do not think you can find better carrot cake anywhere else.
The texture and flavor was incredible.
You could see all the key ingredients in the cake.
Like the shaved carrots to the ground nuts in the cake. The frosting was also very smooth and tasty!

Summary
I highly recommend it to anyone that appreciates the extra details and understands the work it takes to achieve it.
JJs may not be for people with simple tastes like those that only like cheap beer and fried chicken fingers.
Its well worth the money and i will be back with my wife at least once a year hopefully more! :) We live about an hour and a half away.

They just opened for brunch on Sundays... was hesitant... but wow! Great food!

Great, almost surf side, feel to it. The chips are made with a little extra flavor to hook you as soon as you sit down. The tacos are an exquisite twist on classic flavors and if your into bourbon they have an extensive collection. I’ve sat at the bar every time I’ve come but the service is excellent no matter where I’m the restaurant you are.

They have the best burgers, bourbon selection and cheesecake around. The cheesecake is the owners recipes and they buy local beef and make their own patties so it isn't frozen patties. Also their smoke old fashioneds are amazing!

Drove by and had to circle back! Cute place. Fun cocktails. Enjoyed some Walleye tacos with Brussels sprouts

2 days later— came back with the whole fam from lakeside for dinner. Mezcal queso, mahi mahi dinner… Mai Tais!!

Obsessed now. We will be back once a year for our annual trip.
