Great food, even with a limited menu, they did a great job!

What a surprise!! We had been traveling for hours and needed 1) something the entire family would eat [mom, dad, four kids ages 14 to 4] and 2) a place that wasn't fast food but that would tolerate rambunctious, travel-weary kids. Far West fit the bill, and the bill was half as much as we've had to pay recently!!! What they saved on curb appeal, they passed on to customers! We had our doubts when we pulled into the parking lot (and they probably had their doubts seeing our obnoxious little ones), but we left full and happy! My husband said it was the best burger he had had in weeks. It was in my top 5 burgers of all time (I had a chili burger with a side of fried rice = AMAZING combo! Try it! and he had the classic burger with fries). One daughter loved the BLT and another the chips and salsa. The littles shared pad Thai and enjoyed using chop sticks for the first time. What an eclectic mix and perfect for our family (and it tasted good too). If we ever come back here, we'll definitely eat here again.

Oh, and the service was friendly and the food was fast. Super important with antsy kids. Thank you!!!

I come to Chadron 1-2 times a year for work. I usually eat at Far West several times on each trip. The food is exceptionally good. I never found Thai food this good when I was living in Lincoln or Omaha. And Lincoln has some really good ethnic restaurants.

Today I ordered a dine-in meal AND a take-out meal. My only regret is that I don’t want to embarrass myself by licking the plate in the restaurant — the Panang Curry was THAT good!

Love the place. Service is good and food amazing. They are also very accommodating to my mom, who can't eat certain foods.

Great wait staff, wonderful sushi. Beautiful presentation.

Excellent food and service. The Asian menu was my go to add a vegetarian and it did not disappoint. The rest of our group enjoyed great enchiladas, Calamari, etc. The red and panang curry is fantastic, as is pas Thai.

Most eclectic menu ever!! Our family of 5 left very happy!

Great combination of different genres. The Asian is good; tasty sauce without too much sesame oil that is often used to make something "Asian".
My biggest concern is that the waitresses didn't wear masks, made me glad we got it to go.

Best food I have had in a long time!
Great place for date night, or family dinner.
Atmosphere is so cozy, and the staff are so friendly.
Will definitely be coming back A LOT!!!

My favorite restaurant in the Nebraska panhandle! I used to drive for an hour to go to Far West when it was located in Harrison. Chadron is so lucky to have such tasty Thai in a small town. The Panag and red curry are awesome and it’s fun to also have Mexican food as an option.

It was clean and very kind staff. Decently priced for good quality food and its worth trying something new even if you're not sure if you'll like it!
Its worth a bit of a wait when you're on a date with your significant other that way you have time to talk.

I can't believe the selection, and all of it is really good (we always stop in whenever we get to Chadron now, Harrison before). The service was efficient and friendly. The food I had was great!

I had never had thai food before. It was so good! Waitress gave good recommendation on the food! Some of the nicest egg drop soup I have ever had!

I can't believe I found such good Thai food in the Far Western part of Nebraska it was really fantastic and the service was good as well. They also have some really good Mexican food Chinese food and American food as well.

Wonderful pad Thai for a gluten free option. Next time I want to try the sushi. Pleasant young server too.

Good variety of menu items, the waitress we had was attentive and pleasant. The food was brought in a timely manner and taste was good.

Came in Friday night was rather busy got good food at a decent waiting time and the service was phenomenal 👌 coming back tonight was so good.
