Anoka Meat & Sausage

We love Anoka Meats from the porketta thick-cut pork chops to the Texas Twinkies and even their meaty chicken wings. Our family buys our meat here often and we’ve never been disappointed with their cuts, taste, and unique blends. Regular food stores pack too many additives and preservatives in their meats and you can taste it. Thank you Anoka Meats for being our treasured place for quality meat.

Check out their scrumptious stuffed porketta pork chops. My kids love these. Serve with squash on a fall evening and you have the perfect fall meal for a chilly night.

I dropped off two 60 pound deer this year. Anoka Meat and Sausage had the best processing price i could find within the upper half of the twin cities.
Then walking into the shop was the most welcoming experience you could ask for.
I had no idea what to ask for when dropping off my deer, they helped me choose everything I needed and wanted from my venison.
This is a great butcher shop as well, I was fascinated by the cuts of meat and the types of brawts they sell. Great place, must stop inside if you’re around or need to drop off some deer your hunting season.

Don't go anywhere else. I'm serious. I've been to butchers in the cities and suburbs, even the big chain and small "omg it's so amazing" shops and they have nothing on Anoka Meat & Sausage. Best cuts of steaks, from Minnesota and Wisconsin farms. Pork. Chicken. Turkey. They have anything your local butcher should have and more. The staff are always friendly and willing to answer questions. Seriously, don't go anywhere else for your meat. They do it all, including deer processing and meat in bulk.

Attached is a picture of a beast of a porterhouse I got tonight, sizzling on my grill. Sadly I'm bad with names and forgot the name of the guy I bought the steak from but he grabbed it and predicted the weight before dropping it on the scale. They seriously know their meats.

Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable people working there. I had to give up sausage due to the high sodium content in most everything from the big companies. AM&S offers a low sodium selection that tastes fantastic and is competitively priced. I also purchased two filets that were melt in your mouth delicious.

I normally swing through this convenient location to grab a couple of steaks to grill that evening or perhaps some beef sticks to chew on during the day but this time my goal was to stock up I grabbed some fabulous pastrami and smoked cheddar from the deli I'm gonna be cooking the triple thick cut bacon for tomorrow's breakfast I had them cut up a whole beef tenderloin into 8 oz fillets and we grilled those last night and they were superb I grabbed a staple from this meat market here which are the thick unseasoned and seasoned pork chops and as a treat I grabbed a couple slabs of smoked salmon indifferent varieties which were outstanding I absolutely adore the Anoka Meat Market

Good prices and excellent meats. Bought extra thick bone in ribeyes and cooked them on the grill. Just salt and peppered, no steak sauce needed.
My wife’s not a big red meat eater however she had nothing but good things to say tonight.

Best meat market I have ever been to. My son and I stopped in for something for dinner. The wonderful woman behind the counter helped us with 3 New York Strips that grilled to perfection. The following day we went back to see the same lady because y son said she told him Filet Mignon was on sale... and they cut the most amazing steaks from a full loin purchase. I highly recommend and will return. You have a customer for life in my 13 year old ;)

Ive lived in a neighborhood nearby for over a year and never got the chance to stop by, me and my fiancee decided to stop in and look around. We bought some of the best burgers we have ever made, absolutely delicious.

Great local butcher shop. I've never had bad quality meat and the front staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are a hunter, you can get your game processed here. The in-house beef sticks make a great snack, but I wish they would bring back the pheasant sticks, which was my favourite.

Had multiple deer processed over the years. They do a great job. Turn around is very fast. Cuts are perfect. Venison to beef burger mix two thumbs up. Sausage and sticks turn out great. Family loves them. Thank you!!!

When I came here for my first time, and times to follow, the staff was amazingly friendly, personable and held a great knowledge for all the meat they provided. My first experience was of something you don't experience in alot of places anymore. They are truly genuine and have amazing customer service . They immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. I will forever hold them and their venison sticks DEER to my heart!! :p :) <3

Staff is always friendly and helpful. High quality meats at fair prices, the fat in the beef cuts actually has flavor (unlike the big chain stores) great selection. My favorite place to pick up some protein for dinner.

Anoka meats always has what we are looking for, or the ability to order it for us. I love the selection of meat sticks and beef jerky, the fresh and frozen selection of brats and sausage have gotten us through many family functions, especially in the summer! Heggies pizza available in the freezer too!

Hands down,best meat store state wide! Award winning beef sticks,and brats. Locally owned and operated for over 40 years. We sure miss Pauly and his dad out there cooking out on the grill every day! Bring him back!

Anoka Meat & Sausage is the best butchers shop I have been to in quite some time. The fact that they support Veterans with a discount and donations to The American Legion for their meat raffles, means a great deal to me. This stop is a must if you are passing through "The Halloween Capital of the World!" Their daily specials keep me coming in frequently to try something new and delicious. Thanks folks.

Their ground beef is best we've found.
It hads a better taste, smell and texture than anything locally.
Thier beef sticks come in alot of flavors and are better than even Bob's.

A neighborhood gem. Always helpful, always have what I need, and I always try something new in addition to whatever I go in for and am never disappointed. There is a variety of meats, cuts, jerky, sausages, brats, they have lamb, bison, unusual animal parts, lots of bbq sauces and some jarred vegetables, treats for dogs, ahh, their ground chicken Italian sausage has a flavor and texture I've been searching for for 20 years. I am reaaallly happy to have this place so close to home and appreciate supporting such a unique and local shop.
