Kim Chee Restaurant 7

I am so glad Kimchee 7 is still around after all these years! And of course because they have great service and the food is great!
It reminds me of my Comfort Korean food I grew up eating at restaurants like Jin Joo

A very economical, casual, comfortable and delicious option for lunch or dinner with friends, coworkers or family!

Don't even leave here without eating kalbi !

We also really enjoyed the spicy soft tofu soup ong I was so shocked at how huge the portions are, such great prices!

I've also eaten the spicy pork and shrimp tempura and fish tempura and butterfish

Lol did I just mention the entire menu? Of course I'll be back time and time again!

Went in for dinner after work, wasn't as crowded as a weekend or holiday, everything I normally pass, this place is packed. Food was great like always, our server was very patient and polite as we took a minute to decide wat we each wanted. Made sure our water was never fully out. And didn't rush us out as it was close to closing.

The food was.awesome & the employees were.awesome. very helpful w making suggestions for food selection. Their side.dishes are crazy good & so is the atmosphere. Loved it.

Hawaiian Style Korean BBQ hits DIFFERENTLY!!! Kim Chee #7 in Aiea is the spot!!!! Get Combo Plate B and you have enough food for two, SERIOUSLY!!! The portions are HUGE! Even more if you dine in. Endless banchan and great service!😄🤙

Delicious food, fast service, great prices, huge portions! Can get crowded but worth the wait.

Ordered the soft tofu Chigae and it’s HUGE compared to any other soup dish you’ve gotten from other places... be ready!! It’s got so much hearty good stuff like thick cut vegetables, huge shrimps, lots of seafood and big cubes of tofu. If you have a cold or are feeling cold, this is perfect!! I doubt that you’d finish it in one sitting so either share or expect to take the remainder home for another meal.

Hubby and I shared the meal for two which cake with so much soft bbq chicken, tasty kalbi, meat jhun, and shrimp tempura. Sooo full!!! This is one of the best values!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is awesome, service is excellent They give out big portions of food. One of the best beef kalbi. Highly recommended this place in Aiea.

Been going here for decades great workers great service great food. Im a meat jun guy they offer much more now but ive never eat here and had a bad experience.

The food was very flavorful. It's a bit pricey, but now a days what isn't. Service was ok, but because this place gets busy, the best you will get is your drinks refilled. You may need to wait. I ordered the kalbi with chicken and meat Jun. The only bad thing was the meat Jun had raw spots in it. I sent it back and watched 3 people looking at it as if I should have eaten it partially raw. To be honest, that's the only thing I did not eat. Kalbi was very flavorful, and chicken was good.

Finally reopened. Overall, food is great. However, lately, the cabbage kimchee & the seaweed soup are bland. The workers are nice & friendly. Big bone kalbi, chicken katsu & shrimp tempura are my favorite. I must say that this place is a bit pricey but i think it's worth it. Expect to pay alot.

The food here is soooo good. Staff are very friendly and offer great service. Highly recommend this place!

8/6/2021 I had family come over for lunch so I decided to go with Korean food from Kimchee 7. After viewing their online menu, I called when they opened and it was easy ordering over the phone. I like when the person taking the order repeats the order back to me so I know they heard me correctly and the person who answered the phone did that. Pick up was smooth and the cashier was very friendly. A lot of people were dining in. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the food but it was all delicious. It may be pricey but you sure get a lot for your money! I had the Lunch Special with BBQ chicken, Meat Jun, & Fried mandoo. I shared it with my husband, who's a big eater and we were both stuffed afterwards. The other Lunch Special fed an adult and two children, ages 15 and 12. The side order of Fried Mandoo had 12 pieces! Vegetable sides included won bok kimchee, cabbage kimchee, seaweed, and bean sprouts-no choices on the side vegetables. My family couldn't believe that the mini orders were so huge! The mini Shrimp fried rice plate was a stuffed full takeout container. Everyone loved their food! I'll be back! Kimchee 7 is the best!

Definitely one of the best Korean local bbq places, my favorite. A few years ago they expanded the space to accommodate more seating. All the plates are good. Good price point for what you get...lots of food. Good value, good place to eat.

Great food, and excellent service, the prices are reasonable and portion are big. Been coming for years. Brought my 94 year old dad and he loved it. He enjoyed it so much he wanted to go again the next day.

Once we started eating here back in 2012. By the second time we ate there we slowly stopped going to any other Korean restaurant we had been eating at for decades. They are simply our favorite. Now, we only will eat there. The food. The quality and quantity and consistency. And most of all the crew. They deserve our money and we are very grateful we found them.

Fast service and very delicious food. Highly recommend the poke nachos.
