Penn Medicine Becker ENT & Allergy

My son sees an allergist and and ENT at Becker ENT. Dr. Edwards and Dr. Frake are both very, very good. I appreciate the way they work with me and my son. The staff has always been kind and helpful. My little guy has not had the need to see either of them yet, but if he does I would not even think about going somewhere else.

Everyone was just really great.
All the women in the office I always love. They are quick to acknowledge you and process you,
Make appointments, etc.
but also just lovely people.
Also the medical staff are efficient and on it.

Excellent Staff. Dr. Ahmed is very professional and courteous. He spends considerable time with patients - listens to patient’s concerns and addresses them with thorough examination and advice. I am impressed with his expertise and his willingness to address patient’s health questions.

I chose this practice based on reviews that I read here. I was also looking to stay within the Penn Medicine group. I recently found out that all my visits, lab results, doctors notes, etc, all show up on the Penn App which make it easy to track and see results.

Doctor Ahmed was great. He looked in my nose to see if anything was abnormal since I've been having a new sensation in my nose. He gave me some ideas of what it could be and I'm satisfied with the visit.

I had a terrible bout of Vertigo for the first time. I did not have an ENT professional so I contacted the local UPENN office. They were able to identify immediate availability to be seen at a location close to me. It was a miracle and I was fortunate the staff took the time to review available appointments at all locations as well as cancelations. The entire staff was wonderful! Very professional and courteous. Dr. Frake was excellent, explained my illness, and course of treatment. I was immediately put at ease once I understood the cause of my symptoms. This will be my permanent ENT provider!

Dr. Omar was great. He knew I was a little nervous, especially with this being my first time at an ENT, but he took the time and walked me through the steps and before I knew it, he was done. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Lupa is the Best ENT!! He did my 3 rd sinus surgery all went well ! He is my go to if I have any issues!!! Highly Recommend!!!!

The whole team at Becker ENT has been incredible since I came to them months ago with a very severe sinus infection. I needed to have my deviated septum fixed and maxillary sinus washed out and Dr. Lupa was thorough, informative and wonderful throughout the whole process. He was very responsive with post-surgical questions and I always felt reassured. I couldn’t recommend him or the practice highly enough, especially for sinus issues!

I brought my 87 year old mom to see Doctor Omar Ahmed.

He was extremely, polite, kind and very patient listening to my concerns regarding her ear problem.

He diagnosed and clearly explained the cause and the next steps to be taken for further treatment.

Only one small "glitch in system".

I'm fortunate that i called Penn.Med Calling Center to confirm our appointment days prior to our originally scheduled appointment.

The calling center confirmed our appointment, but the very personable staff member, Dan, suggested that i might call the doctors office to truly confirm.

I'm very glad i took his advice.

I was informed that we were canceled due to our originally scheduled doctor having to perform emergency surgery on a patient.

I only called Penn. Med prior to confirm because we didn't get the typical email or text reminder confirmation days before our originally scheduled appointment as we do with other doctor's offices.

But no problem at all.

We were immediately rescheduled to see Dr. Ahmed the next day.

This was our first appointment with Becker ENT.

Based on our first appointment with Becker ENT, we are happy to recommend.

I am (we are) looking forward to our next two scheduled appointments.

This was a surgery follow-up visit. Dr. Lupa examined my sinuses and cleaned out some materials that needed removal. We discussed possible further work to open up one nasal passage that was still experiencing some blockage, and set a date for an additional follow-up office visit for that work if it turned out to be necessary. His care and communication were excellent.

On 12/01/23 I saw Dr. Lupa for a throat, ear and nasal infection from a bug i caught. He was able to see me and diagnosed the problem. The medication that was suggested worked almost instantly, which I was really happy about. This is my second visit to Dr. Lupa and I would recommend anyone who is having ENT issues or recurring allergies that just don't seem to go away.

I had deviated septum surgery with Dr Lupa. He was awesome, I can breathe better and if I have any issues, I know dr Lupa will take care of it.

Dr. Lupa is awesome. He did several procedures on me until my problem was better. He was very patient and told me step by step what he was doing.
Now I am going to the allergy group for allergy shots and the staff are great. I wished i had found them sooner! No Pain...Kathryn and staff are very nice. I look forward to going weekly.

We had a fantastic experience using Penn Medicine Becker ENT. The office was extremely clean and office staff was warm and welcoming. The Doctor was patient and excellent explaining things to my daughter. I felt he spent an appropriate about if time with us and answered my questions.
