Almost Free Towing

On a decent drive from OH-WY my vehicles block heater popped off on I-80 between Sydney and potter NE causing me to loose all my engine coolant. I reached out to almost free towing at 5am in the morning and they answered the call for help. Miss Tammy the towing lady was very nice and helpful. She helped me find a shop that was able to help me. The service was amazing and highly recommend almost free towing.

Our family van broke down on I-80 outside of Sidney. Almost Free Towing towed us into town, recommended a great automotive repair shop, and charged us a reasonable price ($175) for a 10-mile tow at 5 am. No nonsense, unforeseen charges, etc.

My car broke down without any cell service, or idea where I was. The fantastic people at Almost Free towing graciously gave me a ride an hour and a half away, with my cat, to bring the car to a mechanic. Tammy was such a personable and joyful person all of my troubles were forgotten. I highly recommend this company and hope you get to meet the people who work here. Really helped me out when I was in a jam.

We spent three hours late at night on the side of the interstate, trying to get a tow. Then we called Dave and he was there in 45 minutes. He was so helpful and accommodating, he got our car and trailer to a shop and us to a motel. Charged us less than anyone else would have. We're so grateful

My family of six blew the engine on our suburban on the interstate at Bushnell, Ne on our way back to Grand Island from Utah. I called Dave and he was quick to respond to our needs of transporting all of us to Sidney. His wife was wonderful getting to us as quickly as she did from another call. We’re so thankful for small town Nebraska folk who take care of their own. Big hugs were given to Tammy for coming to our rescue! You’re deeply appreciated!

I Was stranded on I 80 east of Sidney on a Friday night after 7pm I called Almost Free. A Truck was out with my truck loaded in less then 45 minutes .We had a fun talk on the drive in and she was very patient for my situation. Great Business Great Service! Great Equipment. Even Better people. I recommend Almost Free for anyone who is not from the Area and needs a tow company

Very friendly and most definitely a quick response life saver 😉 I called places closer to me and they were literally 7 miles away telling me it will be 6 hours and 300$ and I mean I was stuck in there little town. 3 hours later I googled again this kind mans number showed up I called he came in like 35 minutes and he was 37 miles or something away and . God Bless you and thank you Mr. Handsome Sir I knew God had someone for me he wasn't gone leave me in the middle of nowhere stuck 😘

Tammy and Dave were amazing to work with! They answered the phone at 7pm, came to rescue us and we were back to a tire shop by 8:30. Tammy was amazing with the tow truck. We had to flatbed our truck and she even pulled our trailer. Amazingly fast service and super nice people. Very accommodating! Highly recommended in Sidney, NE!

Fast, efficient, and super friendly! We'd broken down just off I-80 and Almost Free Towing not only gave us a tow and a ride to the mechanic, but also offered to go above and beyond and drive us to a hotel. By far the friendliest, most helpful roadside assistance I've ever gotten.

They towed my car after I was in an accident, and when I called and asked if I could come by and do a video appraisal, Tammy (one of the owners) came by and not only let me in to do the video appraisal with my insurance, but pointed out to the insurance appraiser some things she had noticed that were wrong with the car. After I ended the call with the appraiser, she helped me clean out my car and load my possessions into the other car. I was crazy impressed with these guys! She didn't even make me feel like it was a big deal to come down, and seemed genuinely happy to do it. I cannot say enough good things about this company!!

When my truck broke down on side of interstate 80 they answered my call right away. The driver was beyond excellent offering me the name of a local mechanic as well as working to get my disabled mother in the truck with us . I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a tow they are worth the money.

Our company just had a power diveder put in on a 2017 KW T660 in cheyenne, wyoming.I believe there was nothing wrong with it but we have such ",(How would you say mourn drivers d that don't know squat )" So let's get back to the story he leaves from cheyenne with a 6,633 dollar bill, oh !!! By the way our company had shipped the power diveder to them.So he gets down the road to Sidney, Nebraska to exit 59 and calls and says the RWD (rear rear axle #3 axle mind you has gone out, any way I called Almost free towing and explained our situation and JOHNNY said he would pull the axle shafts and make some temporary hub plates which he did do the truck could make it back to Chicago and boy let me tell you it worked out great THANK YOU JOHNNY!!!! Shut i ain't even the owner I am the shop meachanic and it amaze's me that there still are hand full of great meachanics thank you and have a blessed day.

Amazing service! I was helped when my pickup died on me while hauling a camper! Dave was very polite and went above and beyond to help us find a spot and get my rig serviced. More towimg companies should be like this company!

After experiencing a blow out on I-80 we had no four way lug wrench and had to call for help. Dave came right out and within minutes had us on our way again. Thanks Dave!
