The best investment in my daughter's education. One of the very few elementary schools in the West End of Richmond that offer a truly differentiated curriculum tailored for the child needs. It allowed my daughter to excel in most subjects and she is now in the public program for the gifted and talented children and doing great!

Best investment we've made. Differentiated instruction and the teachers meet the students at their level and provide individual instruction. My sons were READING AT 5 YEARS OLD!! Rita, the owner is a really fun and lively owner who is passionate about her job, the school, and her teachers.

My nephews attend this school. It is such a pleasure to see them excited about learning. The teachers are definitely keeping them captivated and progressing. I am so proud of them and their desire to learn. I know this school is leading them in the right direction.

My 1st experience of the school was good the teachers Seemed nice, The director seemed nice. So my husband and I took a tour of the school beautiful school well organized well put together Their curriculum had a go by teaching the kids all of that stuff was awesome. So after the tour couple days later I got an email saying we would like to invite your child to the school , to do an evaluation to see if your child would fit into our school. Then she also stated we will be evaluating him for our pre K program . I replied well he is currently in pre K at another school I'm looking for him to be in Kindergarten for the upcoming school year. Then she said well the current school(Not naming schools) your child goes is not on the same academic level as our school so we would like to evaluate him for pre k. ( The red flag for me was they didn't Suggest to give my child a test to see what level he was on education wise.. they automatically they automatically Assumed that my Child would not have been on the same level as their are kindergartens and that he would automatically need to be in a lesser class into they feel like he is capable to go on to the next level which will be kindergarten. In the back of my mind I'm saying unacceptable OK! but let's see how things play out. So, i took him in for the evaluation He stay for a few hours. When I came back to pick him up the director stated all all the kids that awesome job they worked well together, none of the kids wanted to leave the playground. the new playground that they have just build. So after a couple days pass by I didn't hear anything from the director so I emailed her. I asked her did my child get accepted into school. Basically she gave me a run down of words but she then said at this time were unable to accept him .your child Worked well with the other kids he speaks his mind, someTimes out of turn , he his lot of energy and then she stated his IQ IS HIGH but But we had to re direct his energy quite a few times and also got into an altercation with the kid on a playground. Let me rewind just a little bit on the day of touring the school the teachers interacted with the kids and 1 of the teacher stated "oh I love your child energy's We can definitely work with him". So when I got the message saying his energy was a little bit too much and that he got into it with another kid on the playground ..It made me really upset Because I know my Child I knew he had high energy level he is a boy (my god) he likes to move he likes to play but he also listens. And then the situation with the other child Made me say wait a minute something is not right my child has never got into a situation with another Child . I've never got a phone call about my child being disrespectful or hitting another Child.
Now here is the kicker she also mentioned that it would be helpful if I put my kid a certain therapy group to help him work together with other kids. So I went along with it she said I can give you the therapist that actually works with our kids at our school. (Red flag) So you have a therapist actually comes into your school and work with those kids and you're going to deny my Child but you going to refer me to the same therapist that you have that comes in to your school and work with the kids that you have chosen to accept.. (OH MY GOD) . I have nothing else to say about the school.. I would say this there are a lot of awesome private schools. Pick the school that you feel in your heart that will work with you as a parent, and meet your Child at the educational level that he or she is at. Be willing to grow with you and your child to get your child at the level he or she needs to be. And allow the kids to be a kid . So they will actually love to learn..
