This is our go-to for any musical needs. They always have a great staff, and to have it close is a bonus! I dont think I would trust anyone else with the kids' instruments. And if your kid is in the band they give great discounts!

As of the time of writing this review, Mississippi Music Inc is the only music store on the entire Mississippi Gulf Coast.

I was in need of a microphone splitter to connect two lapel mics. All the national stores did not have any. They didn't carry them in the store. However, our own local music store had them in stock.

The customer service is good. The atmosphere is welcoming. The location is too easy to find.

I will be shopping there again soon.

Good selection and great prices. I recently needed a 5 string bass to hit the low C and D for a new song I am playing. I called ahead to see what they had in stock, and to get model numbers and prices. They had a good low cost quality one in stock at a great price. I could not find a better price online. I went to the store, tried it out, and I bought it. I picked up a set of strings as well because they were priced right. I had a great experience overall. Good store, good selection, helpful staff, and great prices.

The staff here is phenomenal! They make you feel comfortable regardless of your knowledge of musical instruments. Went in to buy some picks. Gage who works there is a wizard and is one of kindest salesmen I’ve ever met. Knowledgeable, respectful and overall a decent person. I couldn’t ask for more! This place is phenomenal! I wish I could give more stars. A true jewel of the coast!

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Instructors giving the lessons are top notch. Great place to not only purchase/lease an instrument but to get it repaired if needed.

They take care of all my son's instrument needs and they are friendly and have serviced his band instruments quickly and their services are reasonably priced.

This is a really fun and friendly local music store. I worked with Josh and Matt. Both guys are low key and helpful. According to the staff people I spoke with they don’t bargain on the prices of their acoustic guitars but that makes sense since they only sell new quotas at this location. I bought a great little guitar. I also had some work done to my 40 year old Yamaha 12 string. I’ll update this review later once I get it back and play it a while.

I came to Mississippi Music, just before closing, and asked them to change the strings on my Les Paul Pro guitar. I was expecting them to say “Come back tomorrow, we’re about to close,” Instead, Grayson, one of the associates there, said “I’ll do it.” He did a great job. Another associate, Gage answered all the questions I had concerning guitars and accessories. They were very professional. I received excellent world class service during my visit. I highly recommend this business and will be back.

The people here were not only friendly, but they actually seemed to care and to get me set up with what I needed. I didn't feel like I was being upsold on products that wouldn't benefit me much for what I plan on doing. The guitar guy Donnie was awesome as well!

I went in to buy some guitar strings and a cable for my electric guitar. The service was great. The guy who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable. There has been a name change; the new name is Music and Arts.

Mississippi Music is the premier place on the coast to get any instrument you want AFFORDABLY. They are extremely knowledgeable and do not sell low quality products that aren't going to last or that will not make good sound. They also do very affordable repairs and maintenance! We are getting our 30+ year old trumpet fixed for under $100! Check them out!

Really good music store! Local and knowledgeable about guitars and other musical instruments. Mississippi Music was able to replace the key bed inside of our Roland piano and did a fantastic job; it plays like new!

Love music and Mississippi music store. Great people and listening to my grandson play a guitar he's gonna buy soon. And my greatgrand daughter was hanging out with us. Awesome day.

I've gotten three of my guitars from Mississippi Music, and they are always set-up to perfection upon purchase. They are very accommodating when it comes to working with you on bigger purchases with things like layaway and including tax or cases into the price. I've never had to pay sticker price for an instrument here. Donnie is the bearded saint of strings, and its always a pleasure to talk to him. Not only is this a hell of place to buy instruments and gear, it's a joy just to visit.
