The Red Bird Deli

Stopped in a couple times recently for lunch and the food is great.

First time, I had the Red Leg on a bed of fries. Super tasty, spicy, smoked chicken drum covered in tasty sauce on a pile of fries. Only note, is that the sauce was a little vinegar forward for my taste, but that’s just me. The other sauce was great.

Today I had the double burger. Delicious, simple double smash. Exactly what I want when I order a burger.

I’ll be back for the beef and cheddar and the ribs.

This place is frigging AWESOME! It has a laid back atmosphere, which I dig, and the food was all excellent. I took my family here and got to sample a lot. My wife got the chicken salad sandwich which was fresh and full of goodies. I usually don't like chicken salad that has a lot of stuff in it, but I ended up really liking this. The smoked drummies were a great value @ $2 a piece, but the real hero was the steak sandwich. It was absolutely amazing. Fresh quality ingredients and a secret sauce that was pleasantly unexpected. It really made it stand out from other cheese steaks over had. I did make a mistake in letting the kids sample it, because it was gone in 30 secs! I had to order another one! Lol

Anyway, great owners, amazing food, and killer food. This place is a hidden gem for sure. I've already gone back within a week to try the double burger. I'll let you know how it is!

Visiting from Chicago on business and stopped into this (relatively newly opened) restaurant for a quick dinner. For all of you all who live in the area - you have an absolute gem here. PEOPLE SHOULD BE PATIENTLY WAITING IN LINE FOR THIS CHEESEBURGER. Legit AF and honestly the best I’ve had in all the years I’ve been coming to the Cincinnati area. Perfectly balanced (not that big sloppy steakhouse type thing everyone is defaulting to these days). Owners are great and have all of the integrity and authenticity you want in a good deli. This is exactly the sort of low key cool and high quality place this country needs more of. Thanks for making your city look (and taste) great 🙏

I've been in this business for a very long time and this place is the real deal. I notice the small things and everything was perfect. Do not miss out. The sandwich was expert level, the fries were don't even need ketchup good, and the people were awesome! I can't wait to make this a regular stop.

I love this place, the people are awesome and the food is so delicious! This is our 3rd time eating here and food/service was excellent! The Wings with mild sauce were awesome dipped in the blue cheese dressing; even the celery is fresh and crunchy. The roast beef sandwich with grilled onions, provolone, with au jus and fresh horseradish sauce was so good, best french dip I've had in forever! I can't wait to come back!

This is my new favorite spot to grab lunch or dinner. The food is down home amazing Americana and the atmosphere is eclectic and fun. A lot of heart and soul goes into such a great place to enjoy delicious food and great music as well!

I tried the double cheese burger and the steak sandwich special, when I tell yo so so delicious!! Mmmmm!! The kitchen was very clean, the service was fast and very friendly! I will definitely be a regular here!! Amazing little mom and pops spot!!

Delicious smoked meats. Had the chicken sammy and sampler. Sauce on the sandwhich was unique and really yummy with the smoked chicken. Turkey and wings were magical as well. Excellent flavors all the way around!

Visited & picked up a delicious order of a Philly steak & cheese , fruit bowl, double deli cheeseburger, & fries, love everything about having this new Redbird deli in town, conveniently located @ 329 Pike st. Cov. (Previously Angilo’s pizza) 😘

Perfect cheeseburger and fries. Can't wait to work my way through the rest of the menu.
