Westwood Presbyterian Church

This is the most friendly and caring church in Wichita! The message is meaningful and the choir is amazing.

Beautiful church wish we could have heard the pipe organ. Ceremony ,pastor and everyone us feel welcome.

The building, facility, and people were pleasant, good atmosphere. Call ahead, posted hours do not match sermon hours. They may be on a summer schedule and did not update there page.

I was impressed with the pipe organ. Normally churches try to hide their musical instrument, seeing as it is somehow industrial and unsightly. At this church I was quite delighted to actually see a polished and operational organ at work. It was very beautiful to see. If you come for the scenery it is a very nice Church to attend.

However, I did find it unusual that wasn't a period of getting up and shaking hands and getting to know who your neighbor in the Pew was. I found this unusual, I've never experienced that in the church before.

I don't know how to put this: I got a cold vibe. I will try attending the church another time and I do recommend it for casual visit but not being from the area I really do not know the congregation.

On my second Sunday there, I came a little bit early. When you do, you get a chance to meet people and shake hands. They seem a little bit more friendly than they did the first time I was there. Still, I will be quite happy to get home to the church I know. I do recommend this church for a good visit but not necessarily a church home and family.

The pipe organ is magnificent, and well worth seeing. It is quite a beautiful instrument to see and hear.
