Train to Mumbai - Farm Indian Kitchen

I knew that the food was going to be good, but wow. The food is affordable, fresh, and incredibly delicious. Both my dad and I agreed that it’s the best Indian food we’ve had. When you come here (because you should), definitely get a mango cardamom lassi. All of their small street food is great, and I would definitely recommend the butter chicken and the lamb. I will definitely be back here many times in the future.

Wish I wasn't just here for the weekend at Harpers Ferry. The curry was spiced just right and very good, and Naan bread soft and warm. Atmosphere is a walk up and order and sit down with food service (not a problem). Would be a great takeout spot if I lived nearby. Staff is very friendly. Good food portions.

The food at this restaurant is truly exceptional. The quality and taste are outstanding. The warm reception and welcoming nature of the owners enhance the overall experience. If you're seeking authentic Indian cuisine in the area, look no further—this is the place to be.

We ordered saag paneer and the apricot kofta from the take out menu. We came down from Frederick county and this is the best Indian food I have been able to find in my area. The dishes were beautiful, fresh and high quality. I hope to dine in next time because the inside was small and cosy.

The food was absolutely delicious. Tried four dishes and they were all delicious but ch butter chicken and a spicy one (the name I'd escaping me atm) are my favorites. Only downside is the current wait time during the dinner rush, but I think that will iron out over time. Pro tip: go around 4pm when the rush hasn't hit yet. We got our food within 10 minutes around that time.

Chicken Vindaloo was incredible. It had a great spice with and subtle sweetness. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. And the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious authentic Indian food! I was excited to have an Indian restaurant nearby but was not expecting quite the high quality and superior tasting food they serve at Train to Mumbai. I consider myself fairly well versed in Indian food as my grandfather grew up in India and often would take us to local restaurants to get staples like chicken tikka masala and samosas. Train to Mumbai was easily one of the very best I’ve had with staples and some new dishes I was excited to try.

Possibly the best Indian food I've ever had. My family, including my two year old and 6 month old, loved it. The owner is extremely personable and the service was great. We are so excited to have this addition to Lovettsville and can't wait to be back for more delicious food.

Welcome to Lovettsville! Some really good quality food and they are certainly working through the onslaught of people calling in orders and dining in. They’re doing a great job getting the food out. I’m excited to watch them grow. We’ve eaten here three times already and love it.

We had an awesome experience at Train to Mumbai. The food was superb, we had the Chicken Pakoras, Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and Chicken Vindaloo. Everyone was sharing their dishes. The family that owns this restaurant is incredibly friendly and welcoming and clearly care about each customer’s individual experience. I recommend you order an extra rice with carry out so you have it to enjoy your leftovers. If you haven’t been here yet, you need to go. We will be back!!!

Worth the wait! Sure during dinner hours it’s a bit of a wait right now being that they’ve just opened, but the food is well worth it. The Mango Lassi is phenomenal. The apricot kofta was absolutely delicious, as was the vada pav. Husband loved his lamb vindaloo. Can’t wait to go back and try more! So happy to have great new restaurant in town and one with great vegetarian options.

We had the chicken tikka and it was very good. A little sweeter than I expected but I know that every place is different! The truffle naan was delicious! I am so glad to have an Indian restaurant in Western Loudoun and can’t wait to try the vindaloo next.

We've tried to Train to Mumbai for the second time, and I can't tell you how happy we are not to have to drive to Ashburn anymore for good indian food. Super fresh ingredients, wonderful chutneys, the best roti I've had. We're working through our favorites and haven't been disappointed. If you haven't tried it yet, you should!

We ordered takeout for lunch and got the chicken pakoras, georges mill goat cheese + green pea kulcha, good ol' butter chicken, rosemary naan, and the cilantro garlic naan. Everything was delicious and the portions were good for the price. We are happy to have another option in town!

Great food, we had takeout. Portions are a bit small but I imagine that is what new restaurants need to do right now, we'll probably order again. We would really like to see them use paperboard takeout containers instead of all the plastic, though - it is disappointing to see so many restaurants still using the huge volumes of plastic

Had to try on the first day and this place did not disappoint!! Went early at 6 knowing would be long wait and came back an hour later to my amazing bag of food. I know everyone loves butter chicken which was amazing but the chicken vindaloo was so amazing!!! Great place will order again.

Sanjay, his wife and family traveled the world over and brought us the best cuisine to our little town. I am proud to call him friend and even happier to see him feed us such good food. To a great person and his family are amazing; and even better food!

We had takeout on a Friday night and the food was delicious - we were incredibly impressed and look forward to making this one of our standard take out places. This restaurant really adds a unique option for Lovettsville’s “food scene”!

Quite possibly the best butter chicken I’ve ever had! I cant wait to try their other dishes. This place is a gem in a small town.

First day they were very busy and completely worth it. Thank you for bringing great Indian food to Western Loudoun. It was all great and the service was excellent!
