Our first time eating here for Easter brunch and it was excellent! The service, food, atmosphere, and location was outstanding. Thank you for an amazing brunch on Easter! Our server was one of the best we've had in a really long time. You can tell when employees are happy where they work because it shows in their customer service. We'll be coming back for sure!

Wow! Such a tasty breakfast. I had the oyster fry… and the egg, Brussels hash and mushrooms were really delicious. Food arrived fast, hot and well prepared. The restaurant was busy however, service was on point (Victoria was awesome). I was visiting Olympia for a few days and tried this place because of the reviews and location… it’s worth a trip if you’re in town.

We had a great brunch today! A friend had dinner there and loved the atmosphere, so we wanted to stop by for brunch first. We loved everything from the service and food to the atmosphere. Before heading there, we tried to find out if they were kid-friendly but couldn’t find much online. I’m unsure about the dinner menu, but the brunch menu had no kids' items. The only thing that my kid agreed to try was the French toast, which was huge so be mindful of that. It would have been nice to have some mini pancakes/waffles for kids. The beignets were fluffy and so delicious! This place is great for date nights. We will definitely go back for date night dinner!

Great options! Fresh and balanced flavors in each dish. The grilled octopus was exquisite. I'm gluten free and dairy free and found a well marked menu with several options in each category.

The wait staff was wonderful, engaging and knowledgeable. Even with a very full house (a wedding and anniversary party) our dinner was immaculate. An absolute treasure, and a new favorite. Thank you so much.

First time in, and we immediately recognized the friendly vibes of the staff and smiling diners. When you can you always should start any brunch with beignets, and we did. So light, and the powdered sugar was as high as Rainier…we just scooped into the warm insides and took the sugar rush, thank you. Oh, the coffee. The coffee. We were like a couple of tourists going on about it…well, maybe the sugar was kicking in but Batdorf & Bronson Dancing Goats blend is our new choice. Onto the Dungeness crab cakes-perfect. And Eggs Shakshuka. I know it can be a challenge to try something new, especially when the all the favs are on a menu, but this was amazingly spicy/tasty! Wow. And the coffee! Go on by, your tastebuds will thank you

A jolly, busy spot great for Sunday brunch. All the staff were courteous and made us feel most welcome. Wicked cool art for sale in the hallway in the back. Yummy food, just order an appetizer so you don’t walk away hungry.

Disappointed beignets are only weekend brunch. Food was great! Server was nice and friendly! Parking was not easy to find. That’s normally a good thing at restaurants.

Came here for the first time tonight for coffee and dessert after dinner down the street. With Capitol lake in the near distance, the lights made a welcome reflection for a pleasant evening walk.
We came in at 830pm, just a half hour before closing. We were seated promptly with a smile. Our server took our order, we split the ginger carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The coffee was french pressed, a very good Dancing Goats blend we found out. We weren't rushed, and we could see others exiting from larger gatherings with numerous smiles & hugs. Looks like a good place for such.
We paid our bill, talked with our server for a bit, and looked at the lay out .. Very nicely decorated with lights, sea creature pictures, and flowers. We had a pleasant time and the desert was good. Going to try dinner in the future. 👍

It is a great restaurant by the park with a pound and overlooking the capital. The food is unique and good. There are several displays of art throughout the restaurant, and it has an open atmosphere with a patio.

Brunch was better than advertised. The best restaurant eggs benedict I’ve had in a long time, possibly ever. The hollandaise was made from scratch, in house. Fun atmosphere as well. We’ll definitely be going back for brunch again.

We stopped off here on our way home from a trip. We couldn't find any coffee places that were open so we asked them at the bar if they could make a coffee. They were very welcoming and happy to help. There was such a lovely atmosphere and we started to see the food come out to others and were enticed to try just a couple tapas. We had the tacos which were delicious, especially with the housemade hot sauce. We also had some cauliflower with some kind of delicious tahini sauce with za'atar. We loved both dishes!

They have a heated, really cute patio all year long. I really appreciate it as someone who is COVID conscious and disabled. They are always nice about setting up the heater and check on us regularly! I love their non-alcoholic cocktails and their location is super cute right near the lake.

10/10 Would recommend. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxed, and welcoming. Perfect place for a date night. $77 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, a beer, a desert, and one of their bottles. The staff are very friendly and attentive. As for the food itself, the sardines and octopus were fantastic appetizers. The octopus entree was also fantastically done. Tender and gently seasoned. The chef lets the natural flavor shine instead of covering it up like most places. The oxtail and lamb birria was mind blowing. It's better than all the taqueirras I've been to around here. Long story short, do yourself a favor and go! The wife and I will be back regularly.

A nice, fine dining restaurant that has an upscale casual vibe.
Everything we tried was delicious... Oysters on the half shell, seasonal fried oysters, Oxtail and Lamb Birria, Steak.
Service was excellent. They did a fabulous job describing dishes and telling us about our cocktails and oysters.

I have been here once before for a fabulous Sunday brunch and returned for dinner with a different group of friends. The friendliness of staff combined with simply amazing food brought me back.
We started our meal on the outside patio with a generous dish of white bean pâté, a twist on hummus, and so good! If you're hesitant about ordering octopus at Octapas, don't be! The chef is a master! I was also very impressed with the Olive and Tomato Orecchiette, (I ordered it meat free.) Didn't get a pic of the cinnamon orange creme brulee, but it was a worthy splurge.
This restaurants mission includes community, atmosphere and serving food sourced with intention. Mission accomplished!

Great food and drink menu and atmosphere. The service was excellent. Although the food was great and the restaurant is family-friendly, I did not notice too many options for the younger kids. My daughter (12) had the Carnitas Tacos with Salsa verde. This is a great date night spot, to hang out with friends or just try something new!!

Great atmosphere and food. Staff was tentative and food came relatively quick.

First time eating at a Tapas Restaurant. Ordering a bunch of small plates to share and try amongst friends and family. They also have normal entrees if wanted.

Definitely going back to try more plates!

We just moved to the area and this was our first dining experience in Olympia in years. The food was incredible and the back patio is great. The service staff was also super friendly and helpful. Definitely going to be a regular spot for us. Also, the best carrot cake I've had in many years and carrot cake is my favorite dessert so that is a must try.
Update: don't get the olive pasta. Nothing wrong with it, it's just that everything else on the menu is delicious and much more creative. This is a menu filler.
Update: BLT is one of the best I've ever had
