All the ice cream was so good. My friend and I sampled the earth themed flavor and weren’t fans but it wasn’t that bad, I’m just not into macha. The staff was so extremely kind. Though I will say it’s pretty expensive, I guess it’s a fair price for their vegan menu because it’s more of a specialty item.

The best icecream place. Every single flavor and every single visit we’ve made in the past 3 years were consistently awesome. Highly recommend all of the special flavors. 10/10 special shout out to the staff too, all professional and friendly.

Cute ice cream shop. Really loved their mission and brand. Unique selections! I had the Praline Butter Cake which was amazing. They have vegan options as well.

It’s ice cream, it’s pretty simple. It can be good or it can be bad. This was definitely in the good category, and I’d call it great. Their pints are just as good -try the earl grey! But of course nothing beats a scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone, eaten outside after dinner on a warm summer day. Can’t beat that! We loved all the flavors we got. I went classic with cookies and cream and my friend went bonkers with their spring specials. They did have a line but it moved quick and there was seating available if you prefer to sit inside.

Definitely coming back… way too often! Yay ice cream! 🍦

VEGAN ice cream options! Although it was only like 3 or 4 it's Van Leeuwen! The ice cream is pricey but delicious. I ate the entire cup before I could take a picture! The staff were all super bubbly. I enjoyed the fast quick walk in and out service.

Service was good and helpful. The scoops are big. ice cream is pretty sweet, I wish I woulda done one scoop. It’s a little pricey, but very yummy!

Wow. Amazing ice cream. Overwhelming amount of choice. Also lots of vegan choices too. The summer special flavour of passion fruit berry was incredible. Cones and cup options aplenty.

The ice cream was delicious and the workers were friendly, but one worker in particular was amazing at her job, the one with the purple bandana. If I was running this company, I would make her a manager, she was so sigma at everything she did, she mogged the rest of the workers and mewed when scooping ice cream. what a true sigma ice cream worker!

Grand opening for 1$ scoops! Friendly staff & delicious ice cream. Homemade waffle cone was amazing. Will come back to try all of their other flavors.

Space is huge with plenty of table seating and bar standing areas to enjoy treats.

Ice cream flavors you've never had before! Don't let the word "Vegan" confuse you -- every flavor I tried was flavorful. After trying a few unique flavors "Royal Wedding Cake" & "Lemon poppyseed" I selected "Chocolate Fudge Brownie" & "Vegan Planet Earth" both were amazing! Definitely try the homemade waffle cone especially if just made -- yum!

WOW. When I say I never had better vegan ice cream, I’m not lying. My first time in here and it was on a whim. Just stopped in to see what they had. So many options. I got the vegan chocolate fudge brownie and vegan chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle cone (non-vegan). I was damn near speechless. I’ve had so many different vegan ice creams & nothing has topped this place.
My bf got the vegan strawberry short cake & vegan cookies and cream. Not my fave flavors, but still amazing lol the texture and flavor was everything I would have expected from a non-vegan ice cream, but to get it in non-dairy form is amazing! I will be back 🥰

So happy to see Van Leeuwen’s in town. We went on a busy Saturday evening during Philly’s vegan restaurant week. This place is new and the line can get very long. We were a bit disappointed that many of the vegan flavors were out upon ordering. I wish they updated the menu so that ordering at the counter would have been easier. Otherwise, there are many vegan flavors to choose from and vegan toppings as well. Allergies are clearly marked on the menu which is a plus. We really enjoyed the churro and pumpkin flavors.

You could ask an employee to try one of each flavor, and they’d gladly allow you. Such friendly service and great ice cream. The store is cashless!

First time at this location yesterday. Have only been to the one in the East Village NYC prior and it was just as awesome. The vegan hard ice cream here is unmatched, and the regular ice cream is good. The staff was kind and friendly too!

Great vegan options! I particular loved the strawberry shortcake - although the chocolate was excellent also. (There's also ample selections of regular ice cream flavors too!)

Delicious and unique flavors a including a few seasonal specials. The single scoops are huge. I particularly enjoyed the Earl Grey. The staff were very friendly and happy to make suggestions. There were plenty of vegan options on the menu too. I will definitely be back!

So yummy! The ice cream is expensive. $6 per scoop. But it is definitely a delicious treat. Got the earl grey tea flavor and it was absolutely delightful. Strong flavor but not overpowering.
