Beautiful area, great drive through the wildlife preserve, the beach was long, sandy and amazing! The surf brought in multi-colored bubbles and some sea shells with it. Not busy and secluded, one of my favorites to visit!

It was very nice.! I was able to crab and fish. They have a shuttle service available to bring you near the water. They won’t bring you far though. Also don’t expect them to help you load your items in there ATV. You’re alone!

It is a plain beach. Good for fishing, crabbing and shrimp. We caught 10lbs of big shrimp in cast net and some trout. There are no amenities. Just beach. Not pristine. But great for family you can play and fish.

We love Elmer's Island. Even though we can't drive up and park beachfront like we used to, it's not that far of a walk to haul your stuff from the vehicles to the beachfront. We try to make it every weekend throughout summer!

Elmer's Island was great! The free shuttle service was a nice addition good fishing info from the drivers tip them guys good.

Great beach area, quite, dogs are allowed . My dog Lucy had the time of her life. Will definitely be back as often as possible.😁

Had an awesome time not like it use to be but there building back up, not many places to eat now but caught some fish and played with my dog up and down the beach. Had an awesome trip

My favorite beach to relax! From Memorial Day to Labor Day they have a shuttle service to bring you, your family, and all your things to your favorite spot, and at the end of your time, you call and they come pick you right back up!

Crabs and fish were slow (15 mph wind out of the southeast), but the beach and water were nice. No problems.
