Cress creeks Farm and Event Center

The cutest new farm in Ellijay! This is a must-visit for all ages. You can feed & pet sheep, shop fresh local lamb, and other local homemade items. This is one of the few farms in the country that breeds sheep for gourmet meats! They are never given antibiotics or hormones and you can tell they take loving care of their animals. In the fall they will have a corn maze! Great place for families to stop by, or anyone looking to learn more about sheep. A visit to Cress Creek Farms can’t be missed on your next trip to the North Georgia Mountains :)

What a great little farm store. We picked up some incredible meats here and enjoyed chatting with the man inside. Got to feed treats to the sweet animals outfront as well. We will definitely be back anytime we are in the area!

Absolutely everything me and my friends tried from this beautiful farm was delicious. The pastries/pies are handmade with phenomenal clean ingredients and the owner bakes them herself! We also had some of the lamb shoulder steaks and the Sirloin wagyu, they were incredibly tender and juicy. Excellent spot!

A little local gem. Great fresh produce, homemade pastries, cakes, gifts and a large selection of lamb cuts. Well worth a visit. Super friendly staff.

The Vautrot family who used to own the farm where our oldest Ellijay friends. So, I was excited to visit and Cross Creeks did not disappoint. I spoke with them about their plans for this summer's vegetable garden and what will be offered. So looking forward to getting veggies from them. By the way, the baked goods are yummy. Bought some lamb as a gift. Definitely will go back and recommend to others!

I cannot praise Lee and his family enough for their kindness and generosity. We were producing and shooting a small budget film, unsuccessfully cold called a few places, and Lee was friendly and open to our proposal over the phone. As we made further plans, he and his family were extremely accommodating, communicative, accessible, and helpful in every way. In offering the use of his space and sheep (for the scene), he made our short film possible. For perspective, it can take MONTHS to secure a location, and can be extremely expensive for owners to let us use their livestock. Not to mention, we requested a 6am shoot, which he totally accommodated. Thank you Lee, Mindy, and Hayden for working with us, we are so so grateful to have met you. We are excited for what we have created together.

The mixed berry pie is amazing!!! Our kiddo LOVED that she could feed the animals. Very friendly owners and amazing scenery.

Tons of fun. Short visit feeding sheep and the shop inside was great too! Friendly staff as well!

I'm going to give five stars because the quality of the items we bought was really good and the folks running it are super friendly BUT do know it is a small business run from what is basically a garage. It is very cute but they are not going to carry a lot of product. If you are from out of town and looking for a local market, it could be worth the drive but you should call and check inventory first.

Lee and his family are so wonderful and accommodating! My team of filmmakers and I recently filmed a short film on their farm, and we could not have been happier with their location and how warmly helpful Lee and his wife Mindy were! His son also helped us tremendously when we were scouting the place. I and my team cannot say enough good about these people, and we strongly encourage you to give them your business! Their animals are beautiful! Their land is gorgeous! Cannot recommend them more! My wife and I will definitely be back to rent out their spaces in the future!

Amazing ! Very cute and friendly place, wonderful lamb, and local honey. Missed out on the duck eggs but this place is def worth the stop.
