Bavarian Chocolatier

Truly top-quality chocolate and confections. Always had a soft spot for truffles and this place doesn't disappoint. My favorites are the Dark Chocolate Overboard (Nothing bitter about his dark chocolate at all, think brownie fudge), coconut cream, Jack Daniels, and anything with coffee. He also makes THE best buckeyes you will ever taste. Owner's name is Michael and is nothing but an all-around good guy. Exactly the type of person I want my money going towards. He also owns the coffee house next door. Give them a shot, you won't be disappointed!

We could not be more happy with the experience we had. We went with our friends on a group trip and just started exploring the town when we walked in to what felt like a Willy Wonka candy store. Gigi (Ms. D or Giana -if that’s how you spell it) at the counter instantly made us feel at home in a place we were visiting for the first time. The chocolate was delicious but the experience and conversations were even better. Thank you so much Ms. D for showing us so much gratitude and giving us a memory we will never forget. We will definitely be dropping by during our other adventures! Please stop here if you are ever in the area, it is worth it trust us. -Viki and Collin

Thank you so much Gianna. I was on vacation here for the first time, and was immediately welcomed by Gianna, turns out we are both from a small town in Southwest Florida...small world!! The fudge and chocolate purchased were excellent, will definitely be back!

What a great Stocking Stuffer - I can't wait until my family reaches into their stocking and sees these beautiful surprises. Almost too pretty to consume. Most of the fudge I sampled and/or purchased was very tasty and I normally wouldn't complain. However, the young lady working behind the counter was quite rude. In hindsight, I wish I had not coninued with the transaction after the 2.5 snarky little comments she made to my sweet mother. My mom still paid for my purchase & left a undeserved tip.
It was my 2nd visit but I can assure you, I will NEVER be back

My daughter and I walked up to get some treats and the woman ran to the door to turn the open sign around to closed. There are no store hours anywhere on the window or door as you walk into the shop. It just felt very cold and rude. She didn’t even say anything. Needless to say, my three year old was so upset.
