Sam's Table Restaurant and Wine Bar

We recently catered Sam's Table for our wedding. We worked directly with Diego who was very accommodating and service oriented. The menu he prepared was delicious and exciting. All of our guests loved the food and we had a few vegetarian guests who Diego accommodated with a special course. We hosted the event out at West Sandy Creek Winery, and Diego and his team came out and took care of everything for us! The presentation was beautiful. They served the Champagne for us. The timing of the courses were perfect. They also coordinated with our vendor who provided the napkins, so that the silverware was wrapped beforehand. Overall it was a great experience, for a great price, great service, and amazing food! We highly recommend Sam's Table for catering events and also just for dining at the restaurant as well because we've eaten there a few times and the food is always excellent. Went to Sam's table for the first time this weekend and I was definitely pleased. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the salmon panini! Good drinks, great service, and a nice atmosphere. This is a new favorite spot of mine.

Walking the streets of Huntsville brought us to this great happy restaurant. We went on a Wednesday so the restaurant was dead empty. This isn't a bad thing. The service was great, friendly, and attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic!!! I recommend the sams burger. It was juicy and full of flavor. The tomato and basil panini was also super delish! It was super refreshing and super flavorful! The cheesecake was one to die for! I highly recommend this place to anyone passing by and looking for a nice night out.

If you like a good pub style atmosphere and fresh food, this is a good spot in Huntsville. Everything we had was good. Service was outstanding even during a busy lunch hour. Had my kids with me and they loved it. Reuben Sandwich, shrimp tacos and Philly were all very good.

We were pleased with the wide range of options, from Tapas to Costa Rican to steaks and seafood. We’re we’re there for a Saturday lunch, and I had the salmon panini. It was delicious, and so filling I couldn’t quite eat it all. The fries were hot and crisp. My family also enjoyed their food. This place is clean and has a good atmosphere.

While visiting Huntsville, TX I stopped in at Sam’s Table for some lunch. This place is one of those “Hidden Gems”…a diverse menu ranging from Tapas, Costa Rica, and American creations. I decided to try their Costa Rican Seafood plate from the main menu Appetizer/Tapas section and added a side of rice and some tortillas. I tried a Lucky 19 Bearkat Blonde ale…this is a really great beer, crisp palate, and went well with the fish plate I ordered. This seafood dish is absolutely incredible…a mix of shrimp, mussel, clams, baby shrimp, and chopped octopus. The flavors are so good and the rice complemented the dish very well. Even though this was an appetizer…it was a wonderful lunch option. This is a historical location with a beautiful patio out back and an extensive wine list. I met the owner/chef Diego Varela and told him I was very impressed with the food and service received there. Exceptional food and the service from Desiree was attentive and friendly!

Wandered upon this place on accident with my family and I can say without a doubt that it’s one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. It was very savory and had a perfect portion size. In addition, the customer service was great. Our server Jeremy seemed very attentive and took care of any needs right away. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful and would be perfect for a date night.

The first time here, I dined in - everything was amazing.

Second time today, which prompted me to write a review - I was craving a few of the tapas/appetizers and ordered to go on a whim. The appetizers I ordered are not normally things you’d get to go, as they don’t typically travel well. However, everything was packaged so expertly, they were still fantastic. Hands down best bruschetta and Brie crostinis

My mom and I just came to lunch here for the first time yesterday and it was great! She had the spaghetti lunch special and I had the Casada (I am so sorry if I am misspelling that but it was the typical Costa Rican lunch) along with the bruschetta for an app. The food was fabulous and those fried plantains were literally to die for!!! The service was excellent and the owner was very friendly! He came and checked on my mom and I and asked if everything was to our liking as well as introducing himself. Our drinks never sat empty and we were seated very fast.

We also checked out their bar area and the cozy outdoor patio before we left. DEFINITELY will be back to enjoy a wine night with some tapas out back. Thank you for the great experience and happy bellies!

During my time in town, I ate my lunches and dinners at Sam's Table restaurant. The food is exquisite, the customer service was excellent, you have to try the paninis, the papa’s a la brava, the calamari. The atmosphere, congratulations to the owner👏🏻

Love this place and the food is always amazing but this trip, I ordered the fried shrimp tacos and was picking shells out of my mouth. I inquired about it and they told me they leave the tails on, French style. In TACOS??? I can see if they are regular fried shrimp but pulling them out of my taco and taking the tails off?

Great place. Friendly service. They even do murder mystery dinner. I had the Mahi Mahi and it was delicious! My daughter had the chicken noodle soup and a salad, she said both were yummy! My wife had the tomato caprese panini and loved it as well. Nice spot

Son: “Having lived in Huntsville for the last two years, it’s extremely difficult to find a restaurant that serves great food. This place checks that box. We ordered the lobster bisque, butternut squash soup, secret burger, and the Reuben sandwich. Each dish was flavorful and worth every penny. Also, our server, Kara, was very outgoing and fun. She always made us laugh when she would check on us. We will definitely be coming back again!”

Chef is amazing. Locals love the place and it shows. Bartender super friendly and efficient for a large room. Good vibe. Staff attentive. Will schedule another work dinner!

Great place to eat if you are close to the court. I got fettuccine Alfredo and was really good. 😋

We enjoyed our first visit here Wednesday evening. I had the burger and fries. My wife had shrimp Alfredo. Music was my style, 60’s. I wasn’t that hungry but that was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. Great value.

If you've not been there you should. The food is amazing, the service outstanding and the atmosphere fabulous.

Delicious! I enjoyed my pasta so much at lunch that I returned for drinks with boyfriend in the evening. Sit on the patio if the weather permits, it’s so cozy and cute!
